This is my first (and curently only) custom: Autobot Burnout. The base figure was an "Autobot Camshaft" movie figure, except the one I used was missing a door and had major paint scratches. Since I hated the figure (a friend gave me the poor junker after I gave him TFA Jazz), I decided to make him worth something more. The majority of the robot parts were painted black with two gray tones on top for the "worn metal" look, but aren't shiny as they were acrylics. I also left most of the AllSpark Blue showing, but now it looks like sparks flowing through battered servos rather than a blob of blue in a hole. The car parts were base-painted with Testor's Aluminium enamel, then touched up with various acrylics. The hood and door decals came from an old Pinewood Derby sticker set I've had for years. What do you guys think? I'm still new at customizing, so there's still room for improvement I think.

Hell, there's always room for improvement. I seriously would never have guessed this was your first custom, it's that well done. :)  The paintwork looks great, and the stickers fit really well.

And it's your own custom character, which is always great.
    Welcome to the Radicons! :D

No, they're right. Unless it's a fairly hard turd that can withstand your rubbing it without turning to mush.

Thanks for the praise and warm welcome everyone! Burnout here isn't actualy truly complete yet, as the missing door still needs to be located at the figure's previous residence and then painted up and re-attached to my figure here. While he is still posable as much as before, he's more or less going to stay in bot mode since the car mode kinda doesn't hold together well and I like him better in bot mode anyhow, although I painstakingly detailed him to look like he still can turn into a car (complete with blinkers). My next project, which will be my first modified TF, will retain the ability to transform :D .

On a side note, I found some pics of Burnout getting the custom treatment, I'll put them in at the top ;)

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys!
