I finally got back on the kitbashing horse and finished the one arm for Rumble (actually Frenzy to me). I had the arm for Energon Rodimus all cut into shape, back before Botcon, and finally got around to attaching it and working on the tire mod.
Doesn't look too different, yet.


Here's the arm extended with his hand.


Here the tire becomes the pile driver
I used the recolored, Universe Skydive's, knee joint for the tire to pile driver mod.


This is the side that has been modified.

A look at the bottom. I had to cut out the notch for the knee joint/wheel mod


Now I just have to duplicate it. Enjoy

 

Very cool, and very creative...possible one of the best arm mods for Rumble I have ever seen.

The only problem I see is the tiny Rodimus hand. Somehow you gotta get a poseable hand in there!

It depends on which Alt you look at but the hand isn't that much smaller but it is the only one that will work, due to the space. A different hand wouldn't fit in the space to allow it to flip up for the pile driver.

The one above is larger but the one below isn't that much different.


I will take some pictures as I do the other side.

 

I think the main negativity of the Energon Rodimus hand is that it's not articulated like the other Alts hands.

Still, I LOVE this, myfs! GREAT job and I can't WAIT for the tutorial
