Ok so I was unscrewing the head so I could remove the blue paint on his eyes which I did and now his light piping works great, but when I was screwing the head back together it won't screw all the way. So i popped his head back into the ball joint but the front piece of his head keeps sticking out and im trying to screw it but the screw won't go in anymore and it's not even tight.
    Any ideas?

    Possibilities:

    1) you're misaligning the pieces

    2) you're misaligning the screw's threads

    3) you're using the wrong screw somehow

    Post pictures.

I think I had a similar issue with DOTM Starscream's head ; turned out, the far end of the internal screw cavity broke loose...might be a similar case, your Prime.

Nah, I don't even have Fireburst Prime. I can just imagine someone doing the same thing and messing it up however.

Best bet would be that you didn't hold the halves in place as you screwed them together, leaving a gap between the screw's threads.

Do like how you gave the thread a whole 6 minutes though.

tried it once, got tired of trying to remove the paint and put it back together and it worked fine. So... whats strong enough to remove the blue paint without wrecking the plastic?

Thanks, for the suggestion, I unscrewed it and held it in place and screwed it back, and now it's fine.

But one thing I don't get is that I did hold it in place the first time screwed it together and ended up like that.
