As the title says, my wife's dad passed away today. Apparently he sat down in his rocking chair, fell asleep, and never woke up. We all kinda saw it coming due to his increasing health problems in the last several months, and the fact he doesn't like doctors, so he doesn't listen to them. He was a great man, and if I had to describe him I'd say he did things his way. It really stinks since yesterday was his 73rd birthday, but we can all take solace in the fact he had a good ling life, and did it on his terms.

So i'd like to say farewell dad, we're all gonna miss you.

    :cry

I wish you and your family the best in coping with this loss and moving on. At 73, your father-in-law has gotten a chance to see some of the most amazing moments of human history.

    No words can express....

Truly sorry man. Wish you the best and many prayers to you and the family while going through the pain.

73 yrs is a pretty good life. Sorry he didnt live to be over 100. Of course he probably would've hated that.
Listening to all those crazy doctors
