You know I just remembered, back when the first Sentinel Prime pictures showed up and we all thought that he'll be helping Optimus my dad also saw them on my computer and said

"Who's that the new badguy from the Transformers?"

and i responded "No he's an Autobot, he's actually Optimus Prime's mentor and Optimus looks up to him!"

to which he said

"...."

"Bullshit that's totally a bad guy!"

And few month later we see that he really is a double crosser. My dad was right all along!  

 

He does look kind of menacing when you study him.

 

  For some reason, I pictured this scenario going down like the 'Troll Dad'-memes.

 

I wonder what made him say that. I just knew the name from the dickish middle-management guy from Animated.

Haahaa, I remember when a poll was made on this site that asked what sort of character Sentinel would be....just about everyone thought he would be the mentor to Optimus and a new badass good guy, but I voted for the option that he would be a jerk ala animated just for a joke....now I want to go find that thread and laugh at all the other voters

 

well he is optimsu mentor back in cybertron but a traitor on earth
