I've been slowly upgrading my computer over the last year and a half now. Last Summer I had to get a new monitor cause my old one crapped out on me, and the new one was black. I ended up getting a new keyboard just to have a matching black one. Last year for Christmas I got a new Motherboard and CPU, which has a built-in LAN 10/100/1000, 2 GBs DDR Ram, and the CPU is an Athlon 64 3200+ and the motherboard will support dual-core if I ever go there. I already had a CD Burner and a 120 GB HDD, and for my Birthday this year I got a 300 GB HDD and I got myself a DVD DL Burner.

I got myself a new mouse, a Microsoft Laser Mouse 5000 wireless which is black, and for Christmas I got new speakers for the first time in 8 years (my old ones were going and going fast!) the new speakers are 500 watts w/ 10 inch sub and 5.1 digital sound. I also got a new tower to house everything in. My old one was the only thing that wasn't black and it looked really bad as a result. :lol  The tower is an Apevia, which has one of the highest ratings in cooling abilities and it came with 2 case fans that suppliment the one on my CPU and the 2 in my power supply.

Its a real slick design, but it was missing something.... I remedied THAT today! This is the first time I've had a computer that wasn't just a typical looking job, but actually looks as good as it runs.

    That's dead sexy Redline.

I have been putting off building a new one for a while now, but when I do, I planned to make mine a Decepticon as well :)

    Nice job!

:lol  your welcome? :p  DeeFuzz, I guess great minds think alike, eh? hehehe

Al, I know what you mean, my younger brother did the same thing to me 2 years ago. now HE'S the envious one mwahahaha :ev:

I must say the new speakers are freakin' badassed. watching the TF Movie trailer on here, the 19" monitor and the bass and surround.. gave me chills. I didn't waste any time burning it to a DVD so I could hear and see it in the living room on the widescreen tv and surround system!

I got mine from shadowmajik.com they have bot bot and con, solid like mine, or silhouette.. and its available in like 25 colors I think. I chose black to match my machine better, and you can get anywhere from 2 to 20 inches I think.

EDIT: damn Allen. Superquad7 got the bug in my ear to make a 'bash of it as a tf now :lol

Can you change the lighting on your PC, Redline? I would think you'd want it to be red to match your GTO alter-ego.

Here's mine. It's predecessor was called Onslaught (I use it for gaming), so this is Onslaught 2. The lights don't seem to photograph properly. In reality, they're very vibrantly purple, but they seem to have a UV component to the light since they make the power supply cables glow. That UV wavelength makes the camera see them as more or less blue, and actually causes interference if I get the digicam too close...

I looked into getting that case myself... the only reason I didn't was cause there wasn't a good place to put a decepticon logo on the side there :lol  I love the front though, especially the chaser light.

I COULD change the lighting to red, but I'd have to not only buy some cold-cathodes, but I'd have to buy new case fans... the ones this came with were blue. I figured Id just come up with a tf that it turns into, and attempt to digibash it once I get all the details nailed down.

That's a pretty sweet machine. I originally had the light inside the case because I thought it looked really cool, but I eventually got rid of it. The light I had was kind of crappy and I noticed it was giving off a little bit of heat. Plus it was using up cables I needed for other stuff. This was all done like 5-6 years ago. I recently upgraded the mobo, cpu, mem, dvd burner, and HD. Runs much better now. :)

the lights in mine are either led, or cold-cathode, which don't have a heat problem. The power is recieved via pass-through connectors, so they don't waste any cables either :)

oh, and Allen.. :stick:  I drew it, so now its your turn to manufacture :p
