I decided to take some quick crappy pics of my collection the other day. Most of it is actually in storage but this is all that I can get out in my small apartment. My favorite 1/6 scale figures. Some G1 Some more G1 Classics Beast Wars/Robot Heroes Nowhere else to stick them shelf Animated Alternators ROTF Transformers 07
Nice collection! You have more displayed in your apartment then I have in my house. I like em all, but the beast stuff.
Thanks guys. It is hard to see a lot of the figures because so many are crammed onto the shelves and some got cut off when I took the pics altogether. I keep them in these storage cabinets so they don't get super dusty and because my girlfriend finds it creepy to have all of these robots staring at you when you walk by. One day I will have them all out. The things that really hurt when I put them in storage were my Batmobiles, Hasbro Big Millenium Falcon, Sideshow 1/6 Jabba, and my 25th Anniversary Joes.
Very nice display! They are really nicely arranged, and looks like you've got all the good ones from various series BMF does take up room, but hope you'll get to take her (and others) out. That's a fun toy!! and yay for the cute pugs.
Fantastic collection. If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, I find the display a bit overcrowded. Obviously this is because you've got so much cool stuff, but I might be inclined to half what I have on display if I were you (you could possibly rotate some stuff out of storage for display every X months). I've found that less stuff on display really brings out the awesomeness of what you HAVE got out because people can see it more clearly. Several TF figs on a shelf can really stand out, highlighting each one in all its glory. Triple the amount and they just look like a bunch of toys crammed into a small space. Just an opinion, feel free to disregard! But you've got some fantastic stuff. I love those "Dark Knight" figures...
Thanks man It has been hard choosing what goes where. I am literally at the point that every time I buy something new, someone else has to go in to storage. Thank you Thanks dude I do too. I have a lot more of the Sideshow Star Wars figures and a few horror ones too. Unfortunately in the pics you can't see my Hot Toys Dutch or Predator I have no idea what I am going to do when I get DX Joker or BD Iron Man. I agree man, but I find it way more than a bit over crowded, it is massively overcrowded. I am hoping we can get a bigger place in the next few months so I can have a whole room for my stuff. I love a lot of the displays some folks have on here where they only have a few figures on the shelf. I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do with Buster Prime and the Amazon Japan exclusive Black Prime when they finally do come.
Whoa finally get to see yr collection dude! especially nice G1 collection you got there & also how they're arranged, you get to see the various height differences between all the toys.
What an expansive collection you have there BustaJesse!! Tell me about the black and silver Soundwave on your G1 shelf. I have yet to see him, and I like what I see!! I'd be itching to get all those toys out of storage as well. As collectors, we all suffer when our toys suffer. End of Line
Thanks dude Thank you Thanks man. Sadly all my G1 figures are reissues. The differences in height are actually deceiving. A lot of figures are actually the same height as each other, so a lot of the guys in the middle and back rows are standing on clear plastic boxes. Thanks man TFC Soundblaster is the black and silver Soundwave repaint. Mine is the reissue from a few years back and he came with Buzzsaw and Ravage. I think I paid $50 for him but now I think he sells for a lot more. He is a really great figure. Soundblaster (1987) - Destron Intelligence Officer - www.tfu.info
Great collection man! Everything is really nicely displayed! I really wish I had enough room to display all of my TFs like this in my apartment!
Thanks man. I love the 1/6 figures too, but damn they are expensive. I don't even like to think about how much I paid for those Hot Toys Dark Knight figures. Thanks I miss the BMF. I bought it when it first came out and had it on display for about a year on top of those cabinets, it is a really great playset/vehicle. It was a sad day when I had to box it back up and it was a bitch taking it apart to put back in the box because it is designed to stay together once assembled. I am a sucker for huge toys, I also have the Gi Joe ROC Pit in storage too.
Thanks man I know what it is like to want more space. It is like hot real estate in these parts. I am dreading the day the new line comes out, especially if I like it as much as Animated.
