Well, I finally completed my Classics Warpath.

He is made using a Classics Broadside as well as head, shoulders and hands from Armada Iceberg.

With this, my '84, '85 & movie minibots are complete.

I like it...very nice. I also like the mixture in sizes here. I still like your wheelie as well. Never saw that Seaspray before, interested in seeing alt shots of that one.

which one is iceberg? Most of the armada minicons have been repainted at least once, would I recognize it under a different name? I love broadside, except that he hates to stay standing up. I really like this custom.

Iceberg is the orange snow vehicle that was part of the adventure? team.

He was also repainted as Scatterbrain? for the Cybertron 2 packs.

And, yeah, Broadside is one of the least stable minicons. That's why I was forced to put the claw-like feet on him. After the other mods, he was too unstable not to put feet.

i love the work you've done with all of these.
my only concern is the fact that they are all so very reminiscent of their original G1 selves except for bumblbee and cliffjumper.
don't get me wrong. those two still look fantastic. they just don't really seem to fit in with the others.

Unfortunately, Hasbro hasn't made a scout mold that would work, so I had to improvise. I remembered a concept sketch in Toyfare #72 from Dreamwave's Transformers/G.I. Joe book (set in world war 2) in which Bumblebee was a motorcyle. The sketch of the robot mode had large wheels on his shoulders which looked a lot like Brakedown's shoulders, so I guess that was my inspiration for those bashes.

If Hasbro ever comes out with a scout class mold that I feel works better, I may delegate them to my other shelf with the bashes that don't have a series to call home. I call that shelf... Transformers: Dimensions, since they all seem to be from a different reality.

But for now, I feel that they are close enough to G1 for me since the real Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are deluxe and wouldn't fit in with these other minibot bashes.

Nicely done; the new head and arms fit him really well.
So, any plans to finish the minibots with Tailgate, Pipes, Swerve, Hubcap and Outback? And will Bumper see any love?
All these questions, and more, answered... maybe. :p

    Plans? Plans?

Actually I do have plans for Tailgate, Pipes, Swerve, Hubcap and Outback using spare minicons I have. But it will be a long time before they see the light of day. I still have plans for many, many other Season 1 & 2 bashes waiting to get done. But at least I managed to finish the A-list minibots from the G1 cartoon. As for Bumper, I have not decided whether to make him or not since Hubcap and he would be so similar.

I do have to say that I LOVE your choice for the 85 Minibots' base molds! That's genius at work man!

I will eventually get around to it. My only problem is that with the exception of Warpath and Cosmos, I only have 3-4 pictures of each bash (action pose, face, regular front view and ALT mode). And before I whip out the camera and take a bunch of gallery shots for each, I will need to do some minor paint touch-ups. I guess I could touch them up while waiting for the paint to dry on my new bashes.

;) New bash spoiler: SWTF Megatron. Just a few more details and he will be set to show (hopefully next week).

What was used to make your Cosmos? I can't make out any familiar parts. All of the minibots are awesome. I can't wait until I have something equally as cool to show off.

I used a Cybertron Razorclaw {also known as Armada and Universe Thunderwing (the stealth bomber)} as the base figure.
