so I had posted a pic of the color I had gotten to do this a while back, but had to do some mixing to get it right. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially the metal flake that doesn't show up too well here. however, I feel that as it is, this looks too plain, but I'm afraid to add apps in case I don't like them. I was thinking some of the little yellow highlights on the knees, and maybe on the air intakes above his shoulders. I'd love some advice or thoughts, especially with some photoshopping ;)

    Things I would add:

Yellow on the shoulder intakes like you said.
Some more of the blue color you used on the part directly below his head, I don't know what you would call this, but if you put some blue on that bridge and leave the upside down "T" silver, it helps break that up.
Maybe some silver or black on his intakes on his legs.
Give him a black wash on the silver parts, this will really bring out the detail. You can do this with a Gundam pen.

Those are things that I would do, but its your custom, do what you feel your comfortable with and that you are happy with.

    He looks great so far.

nope, I hand paint using tamiya acrylics. I photoshopped (actually paint.net'ed) this pic. here's what I plan on doing, along with silver on the leg intakes:

Looking great! The photoshop red you added should look great. I would have used flat black on the black parts however...just a matter of opinion though. It really looks awesome.
