I was called downstairs today, my parelts told me that my cat, Scooter, was missing. Tomorrow, my parrents are going to ask the local vet if anyone's found him. I miss him so much
One time my cat was trapped under the couch for a week. She could have gotten out a few times but I guess she liked it under there.
My girlfriend's cats were trapped in the shed for 4 days. I guess they found a "new" place to explore when the gardener opened it. Then he shut it not knowing they were in there. Make sure you check every closet, cabinet, and door. Cats are curious, there's no overestimating that.
My cat ran away for about an hour once, then we found him under my mom's car. Hope yours shows up eventually.
I know the feeling. =[ Search and put up fliers around the neighborhood. Notify local vets and the microchip manufacturer. Above all else, stay positive. I hope you find him soon.
my kittin I was fostering ran out one morning and I did not see her for 2 weeks. I kept food and water out for her and she finally came home. Sorry your kitty rean off.
My cat runs off all the time. He comes back before it turns dark. Maybe the same might go with your kitty. If it doesn't.....I hope you find your cat.
Sorry to hear that. Keep hope though, my sister in laws cat ran off about 6 months ago and they just found it again this week at a local shelter by perusing the shelters pictures on Facebook.
My cat once found his way under the kitchen cabinets. Underneath those kitchen cabinets are places where floorboards don't join for ventilation... He was trapped under the house for the better part of a day I think. I was sitting there watching TV and wondering if I could hear the cat meowing, but he wasn't anywhere to be seen... Stealth cat.
Thats damn true, one of my cats went missing for a week and it turned out someone had let him in our sun room, and the only way I found him was I was in the room that leads to it when no one was home(when it's quiet) and was playing with the other cat and cleaning and I heard a meow so I was like "oh he's at the front door," I go and check and he wasn't there, so I go to the curtains of the sunroom and look down through the window and he's staring right at me like " why'd you let them lock me in here for a week?"...
I have a cat who I rarely see in a day. Unless the wheather is bad that he stays inside. He is a hunter or at least tries to be. If your cat likes the outdoors, they usually come back eventually. I would look around your house to see if your cat is hiding or stuck somewhere.
I hope you find your kitty soon...maybe check the houses out around yours to make sure your kitty wasn't locked in a shed, that happened to my friends cat. Keep calling him though, I know I'd have to do that with one of mine from time to time.
I hope you can find your kitty soon! My Luna occasionally runs off for a 3 or 4 days, so I know how bad it feels.
Don't lose hope. My girlriend's cat went missing for almost a month and then recently just wandered back into the house like nothing had happened. No idea where he'd been. Until you know for sure something bad has actually happened there's always a chance kitty will crop up fine. Ask around and put up fliers. Sometimes people will think a cat is stray and take it home with them, especially if it's lost its collar. Hopefully if that has happened the person will have taken it to the vet and if it's microchipped then things will be sorted out quickly. Always get your cat or dog chipped.
