Cat people, pray for me and Luna, my cat. Today, My Mom noticed an odd lump on her neck area. We thought at fuirst it she had gotten tree sapo in fur, or had a scab, but shes acting weird. She cant do her usual huge yawn, and her meow is weird too. Were taking her tothe vet tomarow, but its worrying. Again, cat lovers, pleaswe pray for me.

Best of luck to your cat. :(

We lost one of our cats last year to a very aggressive lymphoma which started as a lump in his neck.

I certainly hope it's not the case with your cat.

I hope your cat is okay. It sucks losing pets. Hopefully, whatever it is, it won't be serious and will be operable if necessary.

I hope your cat does not suffer anything bad. My family cat had seizures before she passed. Hopefully the lump is nothing bad.

I'm not exactly a cat person, but I shall most certainly still hope for the best. It's always terrifying when any kind of loved one runs into such a health scare. And so I hope you and your family do take care--and especially your cat. ::nods emphatically::

My guess is it's hyperthyroid. My cat has it, it's apparently getting more and more common in cats as the years go on. You won't really know anything until they analyze the blood.

It's not a big deal really, it can be easily cured or treated, depending on how much you want to spend. Pennies a day on medication that the cat will need twice a day for the rest of it's life (what I picked) or $1000+ on a radiation treatment to cure it. Most places keep the cat for a couple weeks since it's irradiated, which bothered me more than the money actually.
