About three or four hours ago, my brother's dog, Rodny, died My brother lives with me, so it was very hard to be in the same house when that kind of thing happens. He has had him for eight years since he was a baby. He was my dog's brother. He was such a good dog, he was so loyal to my brother, every morning he would bring my brother his shoes and his leash. It was so sad because I saw his spirit when he died leave my house and float upwards. May he rest in peace forever. We'll miss you, buddy.
I know how your brother feels. I lost my dog 14 yrs ago and it took me aweek to get over it. A month later, my sister gave me her dog, a Shin-Tzu. I had her for nearly six years until one day, my parents were keeping her and she got out. I searched the entire neighborhood and then I placed an ad in the newspaper and nobody called. Again for the second time I was upset. Till this day everytime I think about my two dogs, it still brings tears to my eyes.
My condolances to your brother. I know exactly what he's going through. I might have to do it again in a few days, unfortunately.
my condolences. i know the day my Chihuahua, tiny (he ain't no teacup he is a medium size dog) dies, i will bawl like a baby. i probably wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for that lovable dog (i had BAD asthma and my parents got me a Chihuahua to see if that would help, and by gollie it DID WORK!!!!!, 6 months later i was off all my medication except for a simple inhaler that i used when needed......so if your child has asthma, get an effin Chihuahua). he is 9 years old, had him since he was a puppy in 2001
Luckily, the chihuahua has one of the longest life expectancy, averaging 16-18 years, so your chi is only at the halfway mark
I know how you feel, my sister basically killed my dog. We had her since she was a puppy, she would dig her paws into the ground if you tried to make her leave the yard. But whilst me and my family was out at the storee Xmas shopping my sister left her outside so long that he went into the road and got struck by a car. I hope that you brother is going to be ok, not sure how old he is but maaybe he should get a mix breed dog next time, my second dog, a lab/terrier mix, is still alive and kicking and he's 15 years old.
Oh God. I'm so sorry for what happened. My dog almost lost his life a little while ago. If my parents didn't bring him to the vet he would have long been deceased by now. I wish dogs could live longer than 10-15 years.
May he rest in peace. I was eight years old when I lost my Puppy named Mallory...She was a toy poodle, was eight years old, and died by being run over by a truck... It's sad losing a pet...It truly is...But you have to remember Rodney for the joy he brought, that's the best way to be. You and my brother have my best wishes.
Sorry to hear about the loss. All I ever had were fish, but I still felt some sadness about losing the little guys. I can imagine what it must feel to lose a pet that was more of a faithful companion, though.
