Damn, the consequences of being sexy Thanks everybody! and Matrix_Soul I would never buy a car that looked like Bumblebee, gah ugh.
I should upload pics of my leg. two days ago a driver flung his door open just as I was riding by on my bike to work. the gash took 6 stitches to close. sorry about your car, but hey, that's what insurance is for, right? I like the autobot logo with the black. looks sharp!
I wish I had the picture of my totaled Beretta. You'd be thankful that was all the damage this guy did.
I remember back in 1990 when my 73 Chrysler New Yorker got wrecked. Some Navy dude pulled out in front of me at a redlight intersection. His insurance was USAA. We threaten to get an attorney and then they started to see things my way.
That's pretty painful to look at, especially since I drive an Elantra GT as well; glad to hear you're okay though ILD
no need to post pictures of your leg. and Thanks! I hope they don't have to take the autobot symbol off to repaint the car, I had only bought it last weekend. It doesn't come off. But I think they have to strip the whole hood to repaint it right? And thanks everyone! Yeah, it could have been much worse but I guess it really upset me because I take really good care of my car and I freak over scratches, so when this happen I internally freaked out. Somehow I controlled my anger really well and didn't say anything rude to the guy. He was really upset with himself for not paying attention. So I didn't really have to let him know what an idiot he was.
I remember when I was in college I had a 1998 honda prelude that was my baby. One day in the parking lot, some dude in a Bronco decides to back up without looking, and promptly pokes a huge hole in my bumper with his towing hitch. I freaked out lol. I felt really bad afterwards cause the guy was totally apologetic the whole time. We exchanged info, and later on the guy called and I apologized. He ended up paying out of pocket to replace my bumper, underparts, and paint. 800 bucks. I'm just super protective of my vehicles lol. Especially since I'm the kind of guy who views cars as a form of art and engineering than just a mode of transportation. /rambling
I'm glad you're all right. Be thankful the damage isn't too severe. I just found out my best friend was in an accident that totaled his car...
