For my birthday, my wonderfully tolerant wife found me the Dynamic Forces incentive covers of DW's Transformers Generation One (Vol. 2) first issue. The cover has Shockwave handing Megatron his ass. Not that great by itself, but she found two copies, one signed by Bill Sienkiewicz (the artist for that cover) and the other by Pat Lee, and they're both numbered 1 out of 499. I know Pat Lee is the bastard that screwed the fandom and his employees...but I really did dig both his art and the DW TF comics ('cept Micromasters). Non-TF related, she also found me a dart board with a cabinent. It's the only sport requiring hand-eye coordination I'm any good at, so I'm thrilled with that also. And then she did this really cheesy scavenger hunt to our favorite restaurant. And haul-wise, I just back from overseas, so I was able to get my presents to myself. GF Primus, reissue Galvatron, THS-02 OP, MP Dragon Kizer, BT Skids, BT* Blaster, and reissue Blaster were all waiting for me to open. All-in-all, not a bad 25th birthday. Once I get my huge Pile of Loot shipped from BBTS (which is the greatest advance in toy buying since ebay), it'll get even better.
