But I couldn't come online to announce it since my laptop crashed on Friday, my birthday of all days. I lost quite a few files, but I'm mainly disappointed about possiibly losing 4 to 6GB of music in the process if I can't get some of it back off of my iPod. This time around, I bought a 160GB external hard drive for backup. I thought about getting the 1TB (1000GB) drive, but I don't need that much space for storing music and backing stuff up. For now, at least. Does anyone know of a way of getting music files off of an iPod using Windows and iTunes without resorting to 3rd party software? I have a program that would help me out, but I'd like to keep the new installation on my laptop clean and unclutered.
If you have a Mac, then use Senuti to take the songs off your iPod and put them back into iTunes. I don't know if there's a Windows version, however.
Happy Belated, sorry about the troubles. I don't deal with itunes so I've no idea what to tell you, sorry!
Happy 27th b-day, My03Tundra. As for uploading music from your iPod to your comp, Boardwise might help you out.
Happy B-B-Day dude. It was my daughter's birthday to. She got rear ended in the van with my wife while taking out oldest to school...Funny some of the things that happen on birthdays huh?
