I guess they wanted flashier combos with OTG hits.

    I was definitely disappointed. I was a tech-rolling machine back in MvC2.

Considering they're going back to 2v2, I'm expecting it to be a lot more like the first one.

I just watched Max's video on the new mechanics.
There's not an actual scene of it, but it appears there is some kind of combo break that costs 2 meters.
I don't know if that has any bearing on a tech roll's existence or not.
But it does seem like Capcom is trying to make sure the game does not suffer from the infinite combo disaster that MvC3 was and that is a very good sign for me.

I saw the listing for this game on the Xbox One store and it says:

Does that mean this is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program?
If so that is a huge selling point for me.
If it is part of it, then why wouldn't they say "Xbox Play Anywhere"?
Does that mean there would be cross platform between console and PC?
I suppose PC only while on PC would be okay if the community is viable enough.
Why is Microsoft so bad at letting you know what features it has this generation?

    Six new fighters? SIX!

This game will probably be doa like Capcom Fighting Jam and SFxT. It just oozes laziness.

I am leaning towards buying UMvC 3 and waiting for a price drop (or complete version) of Infinite.

After playing the story demo this game is officially off my radar. Weak roster, horrible voice acting and terrible art direction. Also what is up with Captain America's proportions?

Yes. Officially off my radar as well.
I played the story mode trailer and was just thinking when will this be over?

And it's not just Captain America.
What is wrong with Chun Li's face?
    Dante's?
How is it they seem to be using the same assets as MvC3 yet they are somehow worse?

There is something about a different style then there's something about horrible art direction.

Imo I thought SFIV/SFV had horrible art but this one is taking the cake.

So it turns out that if you have one bar of meter and your team mate is still conscious you can burn the meter to switch your team mate in even when you are getting hit.
I would rather have a tech roll, but it's nice to see that Capcom has addressed the issue of every character having an infinite combo.
The best thing in my opinion would be just remove that stupid giant bounce that leads to the infinite combo but that's not going to happen.

I like the art style of Street Fighter IV. I'd much prefer an anime style like the Alpha series, but for what it was Street Fighter IV looked good.

Street Fighter V definitely suffers from multiple art houses working on it.
You have characters like Ken who just have a weird ass face and bananas for hair, and then you have a character model like Juri who looks amazing.
    It's such a mixed bag.

Capcom sure must've been pissed when this game was announced & Injustice 2 is a Magnitude.

while i agree the faces and voice acting isn't good, those aren't game killers to me anymore (a little over a year ago, that's a different story) i always play games for fun, and i didn't have fun on the demo. hopefully it gets better once it's out, but right now...it stands at few-months-in-gamefly level at most....

Evo booths are dead and folks walk past them to play dbz! Ouch! (also there is a annoying guy in the video making fun of Capcom but the empty booths speak for themselves!)

Not really. Most people already have played the MvCI demo. Hardly anyone has played DBFZ. Of course more people are going to go to the game they haven't played yet.

You're not wrong, but it's hard to find examples of hype for MVCI.
It's a Capcom VS game. It should be the one to beat.

What I want to know is this:
Now that the character select screen shows the roster as filling up half the real estate does that mean that there will still be another 18 characters added to the game but they will all be paid DLC?
