    Spiderman
    Incredible Hulk
League of Extraordinary Men, "or is it gentlemen"? (Think Sean Connery's movie)
    Xmen
    Fantastic Four
I would guess new show called Heros?

How many in each series and what series am I missing?

Are you asking for movies, TV show, both or what? If you're looking for every super-hero-triggered-by-mutation, there are a f*ckton.

Well if you mean Marvel Mutants in the Marvel 616 world, then it should be right around 200, given a couple of deaths, and then the birth of Hope Summers

    The League isn't Marvel.

And if you want just Marvel, then the X-Men are the only mutants. Well, kinda of Namor now, but that was a retroactive mutant classification.

According to X-Men : Second Coming, There are approximately 191 mutants on earth. Not sure if that Includes Toro (original Human Torch sidekick)

Spider-Man, Hulk and FF arn't mutants by the MU's definition. They gained powers from external sources, not from genetic mutations that they've had since birth.

Yeah, what's the deal with that? I picked up Second Coming last week and saw Namor as part of the X-Men. I'd really like to read some X-books, but I don't even know where to start anymore. Every single title is part of some big series and has secondary titles that make me hesitant to buy anything.

What about X-Force? They aren't really X-men. I mean Cable and Hope are mutants. So are Rictor and those guys, right? Isn't Deadpool kind of a mutant too? Or like a mutant experiment gone wrong :lol , poor bugger.

Xmen, XFactor, X Force, Dark Xmen, New Mutants, Brotherhood of Mutants, Acolytes, Excalibur, Generation X, Namor, Cheyarafim, Neyaphem , Toro & Morlocks are most of them I think.

Then you have secondary mutations, omega level mutants, externals, Dominant Species, changelings & aliens.

By X-Men, I meant the entire X-Universe of mutants.

I think this is just Marvel's way of finding a place for Namor since he really doesn't have much a place within the universe and the FF was never a very good fit for him. I guess it make sense that he is a mutant considering the super-human strength and fairy feet wings that normal Atlanteans don't possess.

Okay, what about regular people using technology for super-human like powers and crime fighting?

So far, all I know are Batman, and Iron Man. Two regular dudes who use their techno-gadgets to fight crime.

Not mutants also. But you have Daredevil even though he has heighten senses, his physical level is normal. Nick Fury is a normal human. Hank Pym (Giant-Man, Ant-Man, etc) uses formulas and technology. Black Widow. Just to name a few.
