I'm thinking about picking up some Prime figures, and I have mixed feelings on which figs I should get. If there was one MUST HAVE PRID Revealer or Weaponizer, which would it be and why?

 

So far in my opinion (of the ones I have) it's a toss-up between Ratchet, and Wheeljack. Both of the Voyagers are rather unimpressive.

Wheeljack, Arcee, Soundwave, Ratchet. That's my order.

 

Soundwave, Ratchet, Wheeljack. Those are my top 3 mainline figures. In no particular order.

I don't have Arcee, though I might get her regardless of having the First Edition.

 

This and Vehicon.

 

The must have PRiDs are: Soundwave and........ that's it, imo.

I thought Wheeljack was overrated and Ratchet was flat-out disappointing to me. I cannot figure out what people are enjoying about this Ratchet.

edit: Yeah, the Vehicon really looks like it will be a must-have, too.

 

Soundwave, Wheeljack, and Ratchet are all amazing. I am also extremely happy with RID Cliffjumper. And IMO both Megatron & Optimus are solid buys... But why have one without the other? Lol

 

Forgot about Vehicon, though I wasn't including it because it doesn't seem to be in wide circulation yet. That is looking to be a definite must-have.

 

Arcee, Soundwave, Cliffjumper were my favs. I have everyone except wheeljack.

Ratchet has an awesome design but he's missing so much paint.

 

Out of my three, Wheeljack and Arcee. But Arcee looks so cool with her best friend in the whole wide world, so get Cliffjumper anyway as well.

 

One thing I will say about Ratchet is that using a fine tip Gundam marker to ink the mouth actually made a pretty drastic improvement to the looks of the robot mode. I inked the eyes, too, to make them look more like on the show, and that helped a bit, too.

But the mouth... it took 2 seconds and added a lot of life to the face.

 

All of them. Except PRID bumblebee. And cliffjumper is meh. Still better than bee though.

 

As Southtownkid said, Wheeljack is very overrated. I have three Revealers (I like the name), Soundwave, Wheeljack and Cliffjumper. Wheeljack was the most disappointing.

Get Soundwave and multiple Vehicons.

 

All except Bumblebee. Gte Hot Shot since he doesn't look lame.

 

I like Wheeljack, cool toy. But I'm going to have to agree with those that are saying he's overrated. If I had to choose between Ratchet, Wheeljack, and Soundwave. It'd be Soundwave every time. That is the stand out figure of the main Prime line. At least for me.

 

I like them all but if you have one, make it Wheeljack.

 

So far the only mainlines I have are Ratchet and Soundwave, but both of them are must-haves IMO.

Cyberverse Megatron, Bulkhead, and Prime would also be on my must-have list.

 

Yeah, for the price, the Cyberverse Commanders are definite must-haves. Especially Bulkhead, followed by Megatron.
