I can't believe no one has mentioned Super Ghouls and Ghosts, or Zombies Ate My Neighbors yet.

For the SNES, Super Empire Strikes back and Final Fight 2.

As for the Genesis, you've gotta have the first Jurassic Park game.

It might just be me but this (SNES), gunstar heros (Genesis), and freedom force (NES) are some of the only few vintage games that drove me to actually try to beat them the first time I picked up the controller.
ET (atari) on the other hand sucked balls.

ET, we had that game. We had a second one for some reason, MISB, I bet it's worth almost a dollar now.

    Oh yeah while I'm here:

    Sega > Nintendo
Genesis / Mega Drive > SNES
    Sonic > Mario

    I'm done.

It's like 1993 all over again.

    FOOD FIGHT!!!!

They might make games for Nintendo, but they were.... The first to have online consoles, the first to utilize CDs (something Nintendo didn't realize until Sony kicked their ass in the first great war), the first to incorporate the now taken-for-granted use of analog controllers on consoles.

Anyway, I'm messin' with you. Back in the 90's I used to get ripped on for owning both systems, as if Sega or Nintendo was going to personally reward me with goodies for only supporting one. Nintendo had Zelda, and so long as that happens, I will never abandon them, but Sega had some great, darker titles, and they had Phantasy Star.........MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm Phantasy Star..argargaragarag

Here's one no one's mentioned for the Genesis: M.U.S.H.A, rather rare though, good explosions, great music, Unique enemies. It was my obsession when I had a genesis.

Sega also had awesome wacky add-ons like the 32X and the Sega CD. I'm pretty sure they were the first to do wireless controllers too? I remember them being available for the Genesis / Megadrive.

Oh yeah I also recommend Ecco the Dolphin for the Genesis. It's pretty original and very purdy.

ECCO with the Six-Axis or Wiimote would be an interesting game, almost like your swimming without getting wet.
