Just got delivered a G1 1986 six shot after i won him on ebay...

Trying to transform him is difficult to say the least... he's totally stiff... nearly broke my fingers trying to seperate the legs! Ok he's a complex toy and probably bearly played with - but how would a kid under teenage years manage to do it ? I'm a grown adult and I'm not exactly weak...

I ended up taking his front off to see if there was a trick to it I was missing - a cause I didn't want to break him but no - a simple "pull legs apart" method... needless to say it was remove legs... seperate - rebuild!

I did wonder how a 12 year old toy was so mint ... now I know - poor kid probably ended up leaving him to the side to play with something easier!

isn't bad for $20 though ... solid joints and no wear at all

Never thought I'd complain about a toys joints being too tight!

Shouldn't a simple check of the country identified on the Trademark stamp answer that question?

could be a reissue - but I'm not too fussed if it is, am happy enough!

has copyright hasbro 1986, copyright takara.co.ltd 1986 on it... no mention of a country so probably is a reissue...?
