The producers of the Top Gun soundtrack would like a word with you in back room.

This is a tough topic for me because i hate most of the music that is popular today, or music that is post Gen X. I'm not a fan of bands like Incubus or Linkin Park (though I did think that the song used in TF1 was decent enough).

Most of the stuff I like would not work well in a TF/Michael Bay movie.

    NIN would be good though.

I have this gut feeling that we could be hearing Guns N' Rose's "Chinese Democracy" during the Arcee/Barricade chase scene at the Chinese Factory.

If it happens I wont be surprised.

I honestly, I dunno what I would like to hear on a Various Artists Soundtrack for TRANSFORMERS. Yurre made a nice selection of artists I equally enjoy (Sans, Rza. Only song I enjoyed from them was "Fatal" from Blade Trinity, but I'm not against hearing anything else from them either.) and if their chosen, hopefully they make or choose a song that isn't catchy for awhile but listenable after the Hype of ROTF is over with.

I had no problem with the music selected on 1st the original Various Artists soundtrack (with the exception of a few, naturally), though I'm a minority in this subject, I just hope the second VA-CC doesn't suck. Spider-Man had a great first Various Artist Soundtrack but the second and third were just flat out terrible with no redeeming qualities.

Buf If I had to pick, for the sake of the Thread:

    #1. Boom Boom Satellites
    #2. Rob Dougan
    #3. Flyleaf
    #4. Rage Against The Machine
    #5. The Automatic
    #6. [The] Prodigy
    #7. Ra (U.S. Band)
    #8. Breaking Benjamin
    #9. 3 Doors Down
    #10. Basement Jaxx

I wouldn't mind a return from Linkin Park, Disturbed, and Smashing Pumpkins.

Tf theme(of course hopefully around this time around) and some ac-dc songs would be awsome too.

They should only use music from Thelonious Monk's "Brilliant Corners."

In all honesty, 99% of the stuff I listen to wouldn't really work (I can't imagine Pig Destroyer working in any movie really) so I'll just say I want a great score again please!

I think this would be a great song to use throughout the Egypt scenes, especially chases and *maybe* battles if they happen there.

    YouTube - pendulum - slam

Forget the entire beginning part with lyrics. Don't even use that.

0:47-1:25 seconds in would work for when they make their way to, and reach Egypt.

1:26-3:08 & 3:24-4:19 seconds in would work for chase scenes.

I'd add in the time from 0:00-0:46 and 3:09-3:23 if they could cut out the voice over and just keep it instrumental.

Jablonsky, of course, but I don't dig any of those pop-musicians they had on the last "soundtrack". I understand that they've got to market this movie to the right general market, and in this respect the "soundtrack" has to be properly focus-grouped. I get it. But I don't like it.

Instead, I'd rather hear some Autechre sounds to appropriately accompany the alien-weirdness of the Cybertronians, especially the decepticons.

I too would like to hear Scars On Broadway..

I think "Necessary Evil" by Napalm Death would fit any Megatron scene.
