Forgive me if there's a thread already. I searched.

I thought the music seemed like it was from a big budget action movie or something. Very cool.
    did you guys like it?

I didn't mind, what bugged me was the lack of a cool intro sequence. It doesn't have to be the typical TF intro theme but something with a beat like BW or BM would've been cool.

Maybe the Five parter doesn't use an intro and the main series will?

Actually being intro-less isn't that unusual for a first/pilot episode for any given TV series. I'd rather they do it this way than open the first episode with a ton of spoilers (I'm looking at you, Japanese Animated).

think they are going with the standard these day and ignore intos. saves room for stories and have less stuff to fastforward on dvds

Well Animated did for their 3 parter and BW did for their 2 parter. But maybe it'll be released as a movie format for the first 5 episodes.

I've heard that the music composer is Brian Tyler, the person who composed: The Expendables, John Rambo (IV) and other famous action movies

The first credit after the end of each episode is "Music By: Brian Tyler"
Steve Jablonsky composed the score for the movies

I'm a high school music teacher and have a master's degree in music (so I know what I am talking about) and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the music. I was going to start a thread about it but am pleased to see my opinion was shared by another. I noticed similarities with the movie music but in terms of orchestration and instrumentation. In other words they used an orchestra, choir snippets, percussion and electronic sythesizers much like Steve Jablonsky did in the movie. They bring all three aspects of that in the composition giving in depth and character. It's why I love Hanz ZImmer and Steve Jablonsky so much. I love John Williams as well put he usually only uses orchestras. He started to use choirs when he did Duel of the Fates for Phantom Menace but he rarely ever uses percussion and electronics. It is rare that an action kids show gets a "score" like this. Other kids shows gets little snippets of hokey dokey sounds and nothing on essense and quality. Kudos to the show for not underestimating how much the score contributes to the show.

I like the theme song, even though I suspect it's sort of ripped off of the Star Trek (2009) movie.

    YouTube - Star Trek

The movie was, perhaps coincidentally, also written by Alex and Rob. Still great music though. :)

I loved the music. It sounded suitably epic. Hope we get some kind of score for it at some point to be honest.

    Totally ditto on this.

Haven't even heard the proper intro theme for this show, and already I'm itching for the soundtrack...

I noticed as well, but yeah it's good fit, so I'm down with that.

Anyone know what song was Miko's ringtone? It sounds really familiar. Matter of fact, I know I've heard it before.
