Not entirely sure if you mean *A* Soundwave, or this one, but i think the odds of ML Soundwave getting a Hasbro release are very slim.

hey guys. i thought i might post this question here rather than creating a new post.

I've had my soundwave for 2 days and it was fine. Im using a 2 gb card and it worked fine but 2 day while i was listening to music, it kinda froze (?) and the led light didnt flash but stayed on. so i tried taking the card out and put it bak it and it restarted again. it happend about three times today. can anyone help?

also i formated the card for no reason now it turns on but after 3 sets of 3 flashes it turns back off...... PLEASE HELP ITS SO FRUSTRATING

Digitaltoys.com has them for pretty cheap. I plan on getting the G1 colored one. I'm around $20 away

 

i think thats a battery issue, happens with mine when the rechargeable battery is about to die  

 

Lol i tried changing the battery but it didn't change

 

Mine started doing that and I am convinced it is dead. I had a second one that would work with the same mini SD card, so I know it isn't a card problem. I gave up on it and use it just for display now.

The only time mine acts up is when the battery is near dead. If you put a new one in and it doesn't work, then I guess the unit itself is dead. He's fit perfectly well as a display piece in my Classics collection and as a walkman and as my car stereo. I paid full price of nearly 100 at BBTS only to have him go on sale for 60 a week later. It was kind of irritating. But I've gotten and continue to get a lot of use out of him, so can't complain too much.

 

i hope to god that my soundwave isnt broken cuz the main reason for buying him was for the music........ but i think not.. well i fukd up my mini sd and cant really fix it up cuz i have no card reader. The only way i got music onto it was through my old nokia n80 which had a broken screen so pretty much still workd......

 

Does there have to be a card that it can recognize in it for the light to come on? I've never seen any lights on mine.

You sure is not off? you need to hold the play/pause button for at least 2-3 seconds before it turns on  

 

I love him. The best Soundwave released to this date. I plan on getting the Soundblaster repaint.

 

hey, I'm thinking my ML Soundwave is dead since I put a new battery but can't seem to turn it on (hold the play button for 2+sec) I'm trying to open him and see the insdes but stuck after I remove the two screw on the back.

can anyone help me with this?

 

I hate you both, its because of these two pics I'm getting soundwave. Found him on evilbay for 60 shipped in USA..........I knew this was gonna be a bad idea....
