    Mini SD, not the Micro SD or the Standard SD.

    He also can't use any mini SD card larger than 1GB. So don't waste your money on a larger card.

    THAT'S GOOD TO KNOW!! How about the batteries?? are they AAA or watch batteries?

    He takes one AAA battery.
    Oh and the .mp3 files need to be saved at no higher than 128 kbps or they won't work.

    Actually MP3 files with higher bitrates can play, but they may not sound as good as 128.

    I have him, he works just fine with my 2GB micro sd card via a micro to mini adapter. It has been confirmed from various sources beside my own experience that he works with 2GB cards. All my MP3's are 192 or higher and I have had no issues with them either.

    thanks for all the info, but I've decided he's gonna be a display piece. I have all my tunes at work in iTunes and on my iPod anyway.

    It's one thing to be able to read off of a 2GB card, but can he read all 2GB of information?
