I like Skids' alt mode better, but overall I really like Mudflap a lot. They're both nice though; I like them more than I thought I would (and originally I only intended to pick them up since they're in-film characters).
Gotta go with MF - his bot mode looks better than Skids to me, simply bc there's nothing in the way of posing him, plus his MILES closer to looking like his movie renders than his brother... I like skids head better, but mudflap's exploded bot mode had me when I saw Peaugh's review - esp to see how easy it is for the doors to pop off (xformed him now around 10x's now - have yet to have one pop off - just never a point I can see where you'd need to stress them...)
After getting both in toy form, I still can't decide either. They're both so similar and both have pros and cons that kinda even 'em out. Based on the short bit I saw in the trailer of these two talking to Sam, they seem to be best enjoyed when they're together, even though it was just a short clip, I found the reading comment pretty funny.
First off, I wanna say that I would hate both of these figures if there was only one of them. These two autobot brothers together really make the duo and make the figures a must have. With that being said, I'm gonna have to choose Mudflap because of his robot form. Overall it is much better and poseable. There wouldn't be a Mudflap without Skids though!
If you can get past their "abortions masquerading as heads", I'd rather wait for their ice-cream truck mode. You get 2 figures for the price of 1 deluxe!
I think Mudflap looks pretty cool. However, I say get both so you can recreate Vangelus's "MC Paddingflap" !
