    Teen Wolf is an upcoming American television series for MTV set to premiere in 2011. It stars Tyler Posey as a newly turned werewolf. The series is set to premiere June 5, 2011 following the MTV Movie Awards.

    The series is based around a young outsider named Scott McCall, who, one night, wanders around the woods in search of a dead body and is attacked by a werewolf. He escapes the attack with only a bite to his side, but starts to notice some changes in himself.

    To me it looks like "Teen Wolf" version of Smallville. But let's see. :)

    I won't be watching this show, but I watched the trailer and was impressed by it being a show for MTV, but thats not saying much.

    Wasn't the movie a comedy? Looks like this one's being played straight. I've seen Sci-Fi Channel ruin two franchises with the drama tag, others have fallen in a similar manner to other networks. Does everything have to be made edgy and over dramatical?

    I'm so looking forward to the re-imagined Dukes of Hazzard that features Bo, Luke, Coy, and Vance in cars that have more primer than paint, trying to stay ahead of the local crime boss, and the crooked ATF agent on his payroll.

    I think I'll end this post, before I go off on anymore weird tangents....

    Yes the original movie was a comedy starring Micheal J fox. Most of the movie centered around basketball.



    They even had a cartoon series that lasted a season or two.

    Another example where a company only wants the name of a franchise for recognition so people will watch. I'm disappointed, but I can't say I'm shocked.
