And their pre-Earth modes as well!!

just a few to start with....there'll be 32 in all, and I'll post them in three's as I complete them alphabetically.........

First up is a pic that explains their background and how they've come to 'insectified'.
Antimatter is a Jackjumper Ant, I saw them covered on one of those 'Things that can kill you in Australia' shows that fill up the schedules.
Arrowhead is a Tarantula Hawk Wasp. whilst reading up on them It said that they attack big spiders and lay their eggs inside them.  sounded like a typical decepticon trait!!!

Coming Soon!! Backwater the hick Pondskater/Hovercraft, Barrage the Rhinoceros Beetle/missile tank and the slovenly Blight the hissing Cockroack/ATV.

They don't need Insecticons, they've got Dinobots!!!!

probably won't be bashing these into physical forms.....but you never know!!!

    Cheers guys,
One thing I forgot to mention in my original post was that I wanted Arrowhead to look like a cross bettween an insecticon and a seeker jet....the bastard son of kickback and skywarp if you will!!!

Brilliant idea. I was thinking about doing something similar with the dinobots to increase their number. Looking forward to seeing more of your work

I like the Dinobots. But, the insecticons can make clones of themselves.

That's an advantage. I think Armada had a scene with a swarm of Insecticons attacking the Autobot base. That was a good scene.

Sounds good. :thumb  Paddles needs to be among the new Dinobots.
    As a Triple Changer! :D

So your doing insecticons and dinobots? Really looking forward to that. How far away are you from your next artwork posting?
Have around 33 dinobots, some are swoop clones, a sort of autobot version of the sweeps. Got that idea from the fact swoop is often coloured in red or blue, so named the red version sector, and came up with a few more.
There are also the terrorcons painted in dinobot colours, as shattered glass.
Im currently doing some work on increasing the cassettes, as insecticons/ dinobots/ cassettebots were the best g1 characters

Will you be having a discussion board when you do your dinobots? If you dont mind I'll put some of my ideas up, and then you can help yourself to what you would like to use.

I'll put one up now, but I must warn you, I'm a G1 traditionalist, so 'S' names only!!! I've also given them Dinopretender counterparts....kind of a cross between Pretender Grimlocks inner robot and the japanese versions of the pretender monsters.

    And now, as promised, Barrage!!!!
He's the first of the 'existing' Insecticons, so no blurb about his insect form, only his pre earth form. I've tried to explain why the 'deluxes' weren't black/purple/silver by having them camo'd up for some mission or other. it kind of works If you switch your brain off and don't think too hard!!!
FYI, Barrage and Venom are jungle camo, Chop shop is volcanic, Ransack desert camo.

Not dead, no. I've just been away from my laptop over Christmas so have been unable to work on the models.

Blockhead will be here in a couple of days.

Only one thing I might add - the possessive form of "its" doesn't use an apostrophe.
