Spoiler So, I was completely wrong about Getaway. The issue certainly wasn't bad, but good God am I going to be pissed off if Cyclonus' death was just a fake-out. If Tailgate's spark being connected to his is used as an excuse to bring him back, and if that was what the reaction at the end of the issue was... Also, minor error, but the speech bubble of Getway explaining the nudge gun as Atomizer passes it back to him is given to the wrong person.
... I'm.. pretty speechless. I enjoyed the issue, but... wow, I'm gonna need some time to let all this sink in.
Read it this afternoon, check deadshirt.net in the morning for my take (I will not be able to post tomorrow). I loved how this issue was aggressively not what anyone (including me!) was expecting.
Spoiler So I guess Whirl's intentions in the first issue of this season was to actually die at Megatron's hands. Poor guy really does need to sort out his personal issues...

Spoiler Not really, though. Manipulated or not, Tailgate was still trying to break into Megatron's room to brainwash him as he slept and Cyclonus had just brutally attacked Megatron and Ravage.
So with this revelation, this brings up a question. We're probably going to learn it soon, but still... Spoiler If this is what Getaway is like, then what was Skids like?
Good fucking issue. Getaway is such a villain, I love it. Spoiler To be fair I do think it would have been smarter to just raise his hands. Like, what are they going to do, shoot anyway? I think the worst case scenario would have been the brig. I'd at least expect a trial to take place.
Spoiler Very true but they didn't open fire immediately which would indicate that they would have taken them prisoner instead. Rodimus/Ultra Magnus have always been sympathetic towards Cyclonus :<<<<<< and this may have gone to a trial with most of the autobots probably siding with Tailgate. What i do love is that Getaway is a bastard and now we know why freaking Prowl recruited him

Spoiler I know right? part of me is completely torn on the issue becuase Cyclonus was my favorite character on the lost light but his death really needs to mean something and it would suck/ be great if he were to come back I'm afraid that the last panel would suggest that they teleported somewhere which would keep the events of this a mystery on the lost light in the next issue but DAMN DO I WANT SOME RESOLUTION!
