Remember, the DJD are more than just an internal police. Grimlock may have specifically wronged the Decepticon cause in such a way that he got on the list. Maybe Grimlock has a history of just causing a lot of big problems for the 'Cons?

Grimlock was in the fighting pits (in Primacy?), wasn't he? There must be an angle they can work there for Tarn's enmity, be it 'for the cause' or something more personal.

I still think a lot of that hinges on who "Tarn" was before he became "Tarn". I think it's tied in with the mystery of who he is.

Not to feed the old "Tarn is XXXX" meme, but c'mon... it's still one of the implied mysteries of the series.

Let's go with the lamest scenario imaginable that still explains the Grimlock enmity...

    TARN IS BLACKWALL

That'd also make a lot of sense.

Why do I get feeling Grimlock knows who Tarn really is? I mean Tarn does not hate people just loves to kill them. It means to allows someone to live means Tarn really does hate the person. It could be Tarn thinks person death is just to quick to prevent suffering.

Does it really matter who Tarn is anyway? He's kind of been a non-character anyway. Known only for whispering people to death, and for being a fan of gore porn. (I apologize for my lame attempt at humor.)

I will say that I find some of the speculation on the "identity" of Tarn intriguing, but at the same time I'm so past caring who he was. I'm far more interested in what he, and the rest of the DJD, are going to do once they see Megatron's public declaration.

At this point I'm ready for the answer, it's gone from interesting to annoying.

Do you have any evidence to back this up? I ask because this theory is actually interesting, and I'd be interested in going over the issue where you found this potential nugget of info.

Roberts is twisted to make Tarn identity to be important. "Devil is in the details." I am still more interested in what Grimlock is going to do on Lost Light. Skids beef with Misfire really does not make any sense. Some one so skilled has problem on so incompetent. Heck Misfire decided to adopt Grimlock as a dangerous pet. It is really hard to Misfire be enough of blip on Skid's radar.

Whoa... you go deep into the details. I need to reread the issues. I don't remember Skids having an issues with Misfire. You people are like detectives picking at all the little clues.

No, it's less a theory and more a hypothesis, with a chunk of a guess. :p

Only because Roberts has trained us all to be detectives.

Ok, bit late on this one, but one question- Does this mean that rather than the suspects the 'Bots were thinking of, Vos and Koan were really wounded due to their slaughter at the on-target Lost Light, and that the Lost Light thus wounded at least 2 of the DJD before going down?

Possibly, but I doubt it. It seems like the recent battleground might be the cause. Though this might explain what the DJD were doing in the vicinity, which is why they got caught up in this battle.

We don't know when they actually caught the other Lost Light, though, and the 'recent battle' may just be, well, them wrecking the on-course LL and it being assumed to be the other thing!

It'd be odd to polish off the on-course LL, then suffer major damage as a side effect of someone else's battle.

Hm... ah, one bit of evidence: Rewind was still hiding in the Magnus armor. So it's not like he'd been there for *too* long.
