He answered a ton of questions and a lot of repeats....
I asked him some questions, I couldn't help it.
Hmmm, read a bunch of them, some good answers and some stupid questions.
He mentions a Animated Comic sequel? Someone fill me in please, I might have missed this somewhere
I disagreed with his idea that the 86 movie Unicron would not ever be topped.
the animation/scale errors are so godawful that with CGI today, it could be done.
(i'd just hate to get the bill from ILM for doing him, LOL.)
but an interesting read.
Sigh. The guy mapped out season 4. Clearly this show had a lot of life left in it.
It's like I've always said: there is NO reason they should've cancelled Animated. I understand that they wanted to concentrate on Revenge of the Fallen stuff (which is ok, I love the movies), but they could've just put animated on hiatus until, like around now, when there's this time between Revenge of the Fallen and the third movie.
Such a shame =/
Animated was a great show, it was also a great toyline, now if they could have gotten the launch of both to happen at the same time instead of one coming way after the other...
Blame CN. They axed the show. Hasbro's still releasing what Animated stuff it can.
Hey, I posted a link to this. Aw well. The more the merrier. I asked him about a Decepticon Great War backstory, BW Rampage sounding a lot like Animated Meltdown, Thundercracker and Skywarp's fate, possible Maximals in Animated, and similarites between Endgame and Nemesis's respective part II's.
i asked about devy.
Funny, because Cartoon Network actually wanted to have a fourth season of Animated. Technically, it was Hasbro's idea to nix the show because of Revenge of the Fallen coming out soon.
News to me. I heard it was CN, plus not that Hasbro didn't want to continue it, but that they were busy with both RotF and their plans for their own channel.
I suppose then, it'd be a waste to ask the Hasbro crew at Botcon if Hasbro would ever be interested in returning to the Animated universe, as I'm sure the answer would always be a flat "NO".
Someone wants him to draw Thunderblast, eh?
I guess I'd be curious about that myself, since I speculated on that very subject about a year ago.
Glad to see him putting some things to rest for fans. Can't wait for the sequel comic to start! (If it ever does.) The only good TFA, is MORE TFA!
My favorite answer!
"Don't read too much into those animals at the end of Predacons. It was just a small homage, but some people took it way too seriously."
I'm still hoping for season 4 in comic book form.
HAH! No offense, but I don't see IDW going through that kind of trouble.
I'm grateful they took a risk on the AllSpark Almanac, though, but I'm not expecting much else.
So, one of the TF:A designer/animator could have possibly drew a sketch of Metroplex in robot mode. I got to asked him if he can post it up. I would go ga ga if I saw that posted.
There's some interesting tidbits in there, but a lot of the questions are just kinda lackluster, to be honest.
