I'm right there with you. I wanna see what a $200 MPM Starscream is.
I would rather it was not $200 though lol I will almost certainly be getting the KO if that's the case.
So if this is true, do hasbro/takara leveling up the quality of mpm to par with mp? I wanna see a magic engineering in mpm glory
I made a graphic comparing the box sizes of MPM-4 and the rumored MPM-8:
Big is an understatement. MPM-8 is going to be absolutely massive. The width of MPM-8's box alone is greater than the height of MPM-4's box. If it is indeed Megatron, I can only see Movie 1 Megatron needing all that box space since he's the widest edition of the character, unless of course, he will come with a shit load of accessories. Then again, I don't remember ROTF Megatron having any more accessories than Movie 1 Megs.
Maybe they need all that box space for Frenzy. /s
Maybe it'll be a DotM Megatron with a trailer that becomes his armor to give him his full movie look.
Or maybe it's a better scaled improved Optimus Prime.
guys guys.. we need to stop fooling ourselves with unrealistic guesses.
We all know it'll be a DOTM Optiums with trailer (that can't transform)!
It will be an untransformable Armada Unicron in earth colours for tlk. Frenzy and Ironhides cannons will be inaccessible within the planet. Unicrons minicon will be molded into Igor
I was hoping for 1:1 scale Devastator balls
If bee and prime are any indication, the height of MPM Megatron can be easily calculated by comparing the studio series figures and scaling up Megatron to match MPM-04.
Then Megatron MPM should be roughly 30.5cm.
Roughly a foot tall, sounds about right.
I thought SS Prime is too small while MPM Bee is too big. Wouldn’t that make their scaling unreliable?
Both the studio series and masterpiece figures scale the same. Wether you think this scale is right or not, is up to you. I’m inclined to believe it is because the company that owns the characaters...and the films...and the character models...and writes the fiction...and produces the figure...has kept it consistent in two lines that claim correct scale as a top priority.
Have they stated whether the scale is based on robot modes, vehicle modes, or both?
Robot mode. Though I’m not sure how the upcoming DOTM leader effects that.
Ok, that's what I thought. The vehicle scales don't seem correct, which is unfortunate for me because that's what I care about.
I think both, since there is no mass shifting in the movies, besides of the "magical artifacts".
You Fools! MPM-8 isn't going to be Megatron or Starscream. If the box is truly that big only one character fits the role. It's going to be a life size MPM ROTF Dick bot the blender guy! it's the only logical choice!
Now with real blending power!!!
And his dick is ironhide cannon, which is still, cannot be removed, and frenzy inside his dick
Separate names with a comma.
