That’s actually the ROTF alt. mode, which I’d expect to see at some point.

I want it to continue long enough so I can see HasTak taking on TLK Megatron.

At present there are around 85 named movie designs. At the current rate of 3 per year...that’s 28 years...and that’s not even taking into account that they’re constantly adding more, because they have to sell a new version of every character for every film...

And IMO, this is probably the greatest strength and greatest weakness of the bayverse, it’s hard for the general public to give a crap about Megatron, when they can’t even remember what Megatron looks like. Conversely though, it’s provided a great deal of visual variety across characters, which I personally find very interesting.

    Hopefully Hastak will

    A) put out more per year. Four or five maybe.
    B) repaints and minor remolds be exclusives or not count towards regular release.

Also, we may have to count on 3P companies to give us MOM quality toys for characters that are less likely to receive on, such as the Dreads, Jolt, sideways, etc.

That number you came up with, does that include non vehicle characters such as Frenzy, Skorponok, Alice, Dr Microscope, and others?

It does, however it does not include repaints such as the multicolored trax bots, or berserker. It’s also been a bit since I updated this...I’ll do a recount ASAP.

Out of 85 though I’ll bet that only 20 of them had any real screentime, and at least 20 of them even big fans like us wouldn’t miss if they were never made.

Assuming the four characters in the bee movie are new designs, there are 93 individual named movie designs, excluding minor remolds (think ROTF bee) and straight repaints. Of those, 8 are part of devastator, and 16 are extremely small or didn’t transform, and would likely only be released as accesories or in multi-packs.

And I’m one of those guys that wants every single one, along with all of the repaints and minor remolds.

There's no doubt that there will be an MPM Evasion Prime from AOE.
Has-Tak just need to add more parts to the AOE Voyager Prime Evasion mold.
And then they will take a page from 3P companies that produces TLK Western Star Truck Prime.

Mmm, you know i would like to see both movie ironhide and ratchet as the g1 van as alt-mode and jazz to his classic porsche mode at some point in the messviverse. (the only problem it's that they're death)

So they will match an eventual mpm evasion prime and vw bee.

Ive been sitting on a basic design for a masterpiece style evasion optimus for a while now, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to collapse the arms enough to fit inside the cab. Otherwise, all the basic details are there. He borrows a lot from leader/mpm optimus (which is probably why I'm having trouble storing the arms, considering the entire truck nose is gone) and a bit borrowed from the evasion voyager figure. My idea kinda takes a simpler transformation style but he should have minimal extra kibble and have a nice slim profile.

Its all in my head tho and I'm not sure how I should try to share it since I'm not great at drawing or customs or computer 3d stuff or anything like that. If I could just get it out in some way that I could post on here then I'm sure I'd get lots of new ideas from you all :lol

Ive tried sketches before but its hard to capture on flat paper when its 3d in my head. Wish I was good at 3d modelling on a computer program or something. :lol

I guess I can try to draw it again and hope for the best. Wont be right away cuz ill need to redraw it a few times and ive got school and stuff too

Ok so I forgot it was Friday and that I don't have to do homework tonight and I can stay up as late as I want, so I've been thinking about it and solving problems and attempting to draw away for the past few hours. I haven't finished yet and I might not finish tonight. But when I do get it all ready, my post will probably be fairly long and slightly picture heavy and I'll be asking for feedback. I'd hate to hijack the ironhide thread for something completely unrelated. Anyone know a better place to post it all?

On an interesting side note, I've found that my mind works with this kinda stuff a lot better when its late at night after a long day. When I'm completely awake I might have trouble picturing what piece would go where and how it would fit. But its easier to dream of exactly what I want when I'm already half asleep, if that makes any sense :lol
