As if these movies need to explain anything. If Ratchet dies we can infer the humans fixed them. Just like when Megatron showed up in TLK we inferred that Quintessa did it.

Where's that screen cap from the movies with Ironhide with a gatling gun in his stomach, anyone have that?

Maybe I need to see more pics (I have been looking), but my impression is that Firage is a head shorter than mpm3 in bit more and way smaller in car mode. On the other hand, this Hot Rod is about the same size in both.
But at first I thought Firage was the same size due to photography tricks. I still want to see more reviews of each.

Guys, I'm so in awe of this figure! Really looks like he stepped off the screen. The only complaints I've seen are from people who either mistakenly think he's not accurate when he totally is, people who think his cannons can't detach despite no evidence that they don't, and people who just don't like the character design.

It's funny that I haven't really thought about the first movie bots that much in recent years (part of it is how damn long I've been looking at them, I've been craving new designs), but these excellent new MPMs we've been getting have brought me right back to the earliest days of loving that first movie. To me, although some of the later movies did some things better, the first movie is still the most solid as a film, beginning to end. When MPMs first started coming out (of course I'm not counting the first two from years ago) I thought "cool maybe I'll get Prime, but that's it unless they start doing newer designs", but now I'm 100% committed to having all five original Autobots in MPM form on a shelf and I can't wait!

I got Prime and despite the tabbing issues in vehicle mode, I really love him. I finally caved and got the KO version of Bee (hasn't arrived yet), mostly due to the fact that I thought about how much I've spent on Bees over the years and it made it really hard to spend so much on yet another one (I'll never get tired of buying Optimus Primes). Now MPM-06 is revealed and really it looks like the best one yet! Can't wait to see what they do with Ratchet. Jazz could be a retooled version of the excellent-looking HA figure and I'd be happy, especially since I never owned one.

    Bring it on Hasbro!

The especially good part is that you know you wont have to settle for just a remold. Every mpm in the rebooted line so far is fully new so get ready for a completely new, top notch Jazz figure that'll most likely be quite a bit better than even the HA figure.

I would imagine Jazz coming out in 2020 since his HA toy will be 10 years old in that year, that'll be a wonderful tribute from Hastak.

I hope I’m able to just walk into a store one day and buy this.

I’d like to support a local physical store with my Mp dollar. I felt guilty looking at Christmas looking at the pile of mpm primes at toys r us.

Good point. Even just removing the HA-related gimmicks will only improve the odds that the mold will be posable and movie-accurate. It worked for Barricade!

I will not accept a Jazz that does not have the proper wheel placement and the tail lights on his back. However, I'm quite confident they can do it :)

After seeing that they got the legs on this as accurate as physically possible, I have no doubt that jazz will have everything as it should be.

??? You don't think so? How does he fall short? I still think he's one of the best TF's ever.

If anything, given how the MPM so far have been more different than flat out better than the best iterations of the characters, I think Jazz is especially likely to be more different rather than better. Of course I'll probably be all over him either way.

Sideswipe is the one I'm really looking forward to. I'm sure he's a ways off though, unfortunately.

If Hasbro and Takara can guarantee that MPM06 will not have any design flaws and will have stellar qc off the factory line, I assure you, you will not see piles of MPM Ironhide warming the shelf. If a flagship character figure celebrating a 10 year anniversary having a botched release didn't teach them anything, I do not know what will.

Eh, mpm prime it's being sold at walmart and amazon here, it was sold-out for a bit of time to return in these days again.

I DO HOPE, we get the next MPMs right here.

His proportions are wrong, his arms are overly thin, and to be the smallest Autobot in the first movie, he’s a pretty big human alliance figure.

While I will buy an MPM Jazz, it will only be to temporarily placate me until TT releases G1 MP Meister.

I do not intermix the MPMs with my MPs.

The mouth opening gimmick picture means we can finally recreate the, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ARGHH" scene from DOTM.

    ....still too soon?
