I had no interest at all in this Bee, but after watching the vid l may snag him if l can find a cheap one or a trade.....
Nitro Bee managed to get the foot wheel inside too, but well, it was Nitro Bee. Now this is what I call a review, that was super detailed!
Thanks for posting my review here and I'm glad you enjoyed it! (^.^) Must remember to post my reviews in this forum too. (^.^')
For as accurate as this is, it doesn't seem that hard to transform. Finally some doors that come out more from the middle of his back like they're supposed to. I wonder if you can just loosen the screw on those smaller wings and just turn them over into on-screen position. Well, Battle Ops Bumblebee, it was nice while it lasted. You're going up for sale now.
He looks absolute awesome. I have Wei Jiang BB on the way, but now I kind of regret it Just pre-ordered this BB as a result of this review. My wallet hurts.
I've been watching Actar's reviews for a couple of years now and he is one of the handful of toy reviewers I enjoy, let alone simply tolerate. He employs a good mix of detailed overview of product features, enthusiastic commentary, and good production quality. As for MPM-3, I must say, I was cautiously optimistic about it and after Actar's review of the toy, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well the toy turned out. As noted by Actar and others, the implementation of the lower back wings in bot mode is bafflingly short of hitting the mark. A simple joint, be it hinged or ball, would be easily incorporated and not interfere in transformation. Why the toy designer(s) let such an oversight through is puzzling to me since the rest of the toy's design and transformation engineering is impressive. Otherwise, the toy is the "ultimate" Bumblebaybee and I'll add it gladly to my collection.
Mine arrived from China today. Hoo boy is this guy the best. I'll play around with it some more and maybe grab some pics. Weird, there doesn't appear to be a thread in the main review board for it, at least not on the first 4-5 pages, and I know ppl have him already. Best BB short of the 3A imo.
Mine didn't really tab together well out of the box. Even worse, the neck wing broke immediately when I touched it. It's a beautiful model but this is the first masterpiece where the QC made me sad
So I have looked on toys r us and still haven't found it. Does anyone know where I can find somewhere to buy one that actually has it in stock?
Welcome to TFW2005 The figure is out in Asian countries such as Japan and China. I'm guessing you're anticipating a domestic release. A quick detour to the MPM-3 thread should prove helpful, as he is expected soon. Additional Images Of MPM-3 Bumblebee
