I consider this version one of the most accurate transformable action figures representation of Bumblebee that we got so far. But since I first saw it, I was bothered by a few strange choices made for its design. So I came up with at least two customized solutions.

    1) The iconic heels (that I took from a cheap PVC model), instead of the anonimous long piece of grey plastic. And the best part is that they are still fully functional for transformation and stability.

    MPM-3_01.jpg

    2) More dynamic little wings that I can rotate at an angle, rather than keep them straight vertical.

    MPM-3_02.jpg

    MPM-3_03.jpg

Is not perfect, but now that's more like it to me ;)

    Hope you like it :)

Nice mods! The one thing I did on mine is clip out the bits under thigh panels so they rotate freely, since they're upside-down as is. Dunno if I can find parts for new heels but I am definitely going to have to try that wing mod!

Nice, but maybe you meant "iconic HEELS"? Bloody swipe keyboards, eh readers?

Definitely looks better. Someone needs to make new struts for the lower wings. I like that you have them rotated down but there is still the need for a second swivel so the body color/window of the lower wings are facing out, not in.

The issue there is that having the body and color were facing in the right direction, they'd also have to be flip flopped on the sides they're on, as well. The strut is a good idea, but you have to put that strut into the roof somehow, and connect the lower wings to it.

There is room for such a strut to go on the roof but that really is a heavy/scratch custom.

You can just screw it on backwards, it doesn't seem like he stays transformable with this mod anyways.

There isn't really room to screw them into the opposite sides though.

Actually there is, just barely. Turns out I stripped one of the screwholes. IMG_0218.JPG

I have no doubt that it is, which is ready sad, because this should've been the end all figure, abs they didn't get to that 100% mark.. like a really well done generations figure. -_-

Great work! The mini wing mod was one of the first things I did! Such an improvement!
I love what you did with the heels! Intuitive little mod, I may copy you on that if you're alright with it.
I feel like both MPM figures are about 90-95% of the way there of being nearly perfect, they just didn't do the small things to take them all the way to 100%

I absolutely love this figure and am dying for more movie masterpiece carbots.

Those mods are nice, but I wish the thigh panels were reversed, or were able to rotate 180°.

I'll agree that bee is about there. Very minor things that could've been tweaked. Prime, though.. many many inaccuracies. I'd say he's more between 75-80% there.

Well, IMHO the MPM series is not the ultimate masterpiece. What about the seats and steering wheel in Alternate mode right? The seats could be folded like the roof, maybe underneath, and the arms could collapse even more to allow space for the seats. Also, instead of having a separate part, they could have managed to implement the flip cannon inside the arm. Something like that has been done before with Cliffjumper for Prime animated series (as shown in the pictures)

    Cliffjumper-1.jpg Cliffjumper-2.jpg Cliffjumper-3.jpg Cliffjumper-4.jpg Cliffjumper-5.jpg

All in all that would be really 100% accurate.

Sure. For the wings I simply unscrewed the yellow parts just to the point they can rotate a bit freely in robot mode, and back for the transformation to vehicle mode, and cut off the pointy grey part in excess, so the screws still hold them in place, but the wings look more accurate when rotated to the correct angle.

For the heels, I used parts taken from this guy CRAZY TOYS PUZZLE MODEL KITS TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE ACTION FIGURE DELUXE, cut off half of the ugly grey toes and superglued the new more accurate heels in place. Hope this helps :)
