I really thought MPM-05 is projected to be released within March 2018.
I guess some guys will have him early.

I prefer to be late though. I'm still waiting for my MPM-03.
I just want to avoid the early jump I did for MPM-04 then receiving a botched copy.
Wahere later MPM-04's got some fixes.

it might be. it might not be. depends on how durable the paint they used is.

 

That's odd. I own both the movie 1 and DOTM deluxe and paint has never peeled off for me. I expect the same result here.

Holy panel lines Batman!

 

Are we still complaining about panel lines? It's a transformer, of course it's gonna have panel lines.

 

Meh, it's worth it for the accuracy.

 

I think I like the head sculpt and alt mode of the human alliance Barricade better.

 

The HA one has less panel lines, but other than that literally everything else about the MP looks better.

 

Man, I know it's been discussed before but that panel line going through the door kills the alt mode for me. I know Transformers have panel lines, but one that stands out so much on a masterpiece, and can't even be made to look good in promo shots, that's a problem for me.

 

You’ve clearly never handled an MP carbot have you... at this point the only ones WITHOUT panel lines just as bad as barricade are the datsons and wheeljack.

 

I have many carbots. And again, I don't have a problem with them generally. I have a problem when it is an unnatural line that cuts the door in half in a way that stands out. Others like Prowl, MPM Bumblebee or Sunstreaker have the lines that frame the door and when other panel lines do cut through a door, like Sideswipe, they at least stay straight so they match other seams a car might have.

A zigzag line cutting horizontally through the middle of a light color door, that doesn't camouflage as well.

 

With the headsculpt, I think it's more about the bad paintjob.

 

So... what happened to the real-life accruate car interiors that they were advertising when this guy was first announced?
