The faction symbols seem to be tampoe’d also. This is amazing.

It is one of the things I hated and still hate about the vanilla version.

No MP should require faction stickers, ever.

The whole Ratchet deal, I understand. Keep it optional.

But not the fucking faction symbol. I don’t need, nor want the option.

Hell yes to that colour. Neither of the MPs in the last shot are brand new, but I can't wait to have them both on my shelf in that form by the end of the year. The Prowl and Shockwave of my childhood (and adulthood) dreams

Not sure you're serious, but there is no new abdomen. They forgot to roll down the ab cover.

As far as Prowl is concerned, I'm just not feeling it. That design was not meant for cartoon accuracy colors IMO. I might get it if discounted, but would rather wait on a new design.

They need to bring back Hasui pronto. I heard FT hired him.

 

Disagree completely on that last point. Prowl is not much less articulated than MP-29, MP-17 is pretty bang-on to the animation model. He's basically an ab crunch and a couple of alternate faces away from being perfect. Also love the (finally) toy-accurate launchers. I'd bet good money that we'll never get a V2.

Bring on MP-18+!!!!

 

Probably because there's no new new MP standing next to it. A plus with no matching " mate" doesn't seem as exciting. If it was Jazz or Hound next to him, I be willing to bet he would be looking a lot better.

I wasn't too excited when they announced the anime version of Prowl. I wondered what they would change and I wasn't expecting much of it. But when I saw it, I instantly decided that he would replace my MP-17. This version is such an improvement!

An anime version of Bluestreak... I can't even imagine how great that will be! Of the three Datsuns, I believe his change will be the biggest. Therefore I'm looking forward to him the most. Hopefully he'll be the next anime version to be released!

 

As much as I want MP-20+ so desperately (god I miss that mould, so much fun!), I would be pretty thrilled with 18+ next.

My custom got a lot of things right, but there was only so much I could do:




Paint over the Z badge, slap on a bigger Autobot logo, give him those nice blue windows, and maybe a more off-white colour rather than the silver?

The great thing about getting out the 'less' exciting + repaints, is that seeing 13, 18 and 20 done up in cartoon colours is gonna be amazing. It'll make such a difference, especially with Wheeljack and Bluestreak.
