What scale is starscream? I wouldn't mind seeing if I can get a some to scale pilots for my other seekers.

Yeah. They are not strictly to a scale, but 1/60 is pretty much close for pilot scale.

I never picked up the MP Seeker mold; I didn't care for the hip kibble and the head, though I was going to pick up Skywarp when it was hitting clearance but missed it entirely.

If this gets a US release, I'll pick it up. Looks quite good, though I doubt it'll unseat Grimlock as the best MP figure to date (IMHO).

Loving MP11, my second should be here next week, hoping it doesnt come with any faults and that i can get the faults on my first one resolved. Finall managed to take a pic that does the colors some justice, it's so beautiful in hand tho and it's really hard to capture that (at least with my simple camera)

I got mine today. I just finished stripping the paint of the nosecone, The plastic is blue:

It really is much more solid feeling than previous releases of the mold.

wow! that looks nice. Not sure if I would risk doing it with my lack of customizing skills, but that's cool that you have that option if you're a fan of the blue nose cone.

Picked up mine today and I really am so impressed by him! His bot mode is so posable and his colours are pretty spot on for me! I hoping that TakaraTomy is finally learning how to balance looks with playability!

For something like this? Nah, I wouldn't consider taking a little bit of rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease indicative of someone's customization skills (or lack thereof). It's not the same as repainting, installing LED's, or doing a heavy mod. But personally, I'd rather just color match the blue and paint the outside of the nosecone. Acid did a nice job with this, though. It makes the alt mode pop a little more.

That's right. It was very simple to do. Just let it soak for a few hours, and then rub it off. The picture was also taken as I was working on removing the insignia just behind the cone, mine was missing some paint on the left side of the insignia out of the box.
I know he didn't have one there in the cartoon or the movie, which is obviously the deco of this release, but the Original toy did have one there. I'm thinking about replacing it with a smaller Deception insignia sticker. That seems to me a good compromise, and the image will be without flaw.

You can do the same to the US Wal-mart Masterpiece Skywarp. I did. The plastic under the black paint of that nosecone is purple.

The blue nosecone is actually the only problem I have with mine. The tip wasn't painted well and some blue was showing. Noticed this in other people's pictures too, so I guess it's a common issue. I ended up painted the end of the tip in metallic to give it a visual pop.

Does the nosecone detach easily? Is it like the MP-03?

Huh, that IS very interesting. It's not just blue, but his comic/toy accurate blue to boot that matches the rest on the body. I wonder if that's some advanced forethought for a future re-release or exclusive down the road, or if they looked at it and simply decided the grey nosecone looked better and/or was more toon accurate.

That said, I'm now a bit paranoid the MP-11 that I order is going to have some blue showing through in that area since some apparently people have had that problem.
