I just saw that they are selling MP10 Ver 2. I knew all the issues with MP09-v1, but why a MP10v2 so quickly. I thought that one was pretty solid.

Not a second version of MP-1O, but that MP-10 in and of hisself is a second version. He's the second Masterpiece Optimus, and is thus the second version.

    Face Palm...

Really. OK, that is a bit confusing. I guess after MP09 and naming it V2, I thought there was something to this having fixes. Thanks for the clarification.

I have to admit that the fist time I read "MP10 v2" I though the exact same thing because of Rodimus.

There needs to be an MP10V2 that fixes the problems...I'm waiting for a V2 so I don't gotta deal with QC issues.

Not sure what QC issues would warrant a revision 2 for MP-10. He seems pretty solid to me (barring some scratches here and there but that doesn't detract from the figure as far as how he holds up stability wise). Sure some parts could peg in better like the legs in alt mode but the trailer (when plugged into the hitch) solves that problem (my MP-10 actually doesn't have any problems with his legs and gas tanks pegging in solidly without the trailer being hitched in).

So yeah, most likely it's just a bit of a misnomer, as in this is MP Optimus Prime (the new v2 over the old MP-01 and MP-04 molds).

I'm pretty sure I'd read about some QC issues, but forgot what they were, HAHA.

Don't think MP10 has any QC issue as far as we know of.

Drugs? Sorry, my "drug" is Mtn DEW, & I need that for gaming. Anywho, I'd heard of QC issues on MP10, but I guess they weren't widespread? Whatever they were, they escape me at the moment...I'll probably remember later & randomly shout it out while playing zombies on Black Ops.

Fingers snaps off like a carrot and you call it solid!? I expect solidity from a toy that cost a near $300-

But correct me if I'm wrong as a member posted a few more gripes here before

Not really sure why everybody is hellbent on calling Rodimus a 2.0 or even V2.

It's a re-release with retooling. It has happened on so many toys before on so many minor things most of you never even notice it. Movie 1 Jazz and 08 Bumblebee are two Prime examples.

Second release, yes. Second batch, yes. Re-issue, yes.

    V2.0 is something else entirely. Yamato 1/60 VF1 is a V2.0. MP 10 Convoy is a V2.0. Iron Man MKI has a v2.0.

    Not Rodimus.

Other than the fingers, everything sure look solid or perfect enough,we can't complain much about the finger,if not they will not be called "finger" for nothing & aren't fingers suppose to be fragile, just like our human fingers???
