    Awesome!
This gives us the choice of having either G1 toy face style AND G1 cartoon style.
This toy look like # 2 in the MP awesomeness rank!

    Can't wait!!!!!!!!111

no matter what some have said this is going to be the best version of megatron that turns into a gun IMO, but it looks like how they make the head fit the same space as it did on the original (also IMO)

I'm not sure it's a G1-style face considering you cant see his eyes at all. It's just to show how that section transforms because it's different from the original toy, cause the old helmet of the Megatron toy was just the back of the gun, it's the same transformation scheme essentially so it had to be there again.

yeah, he's not meant to be displayed with his head collasped like that. it's just part of the transformation scheme.

exactly. its to show that the head does transform into what looks like the trigger.

Looking at the pictures is making me all hyped out! He's reaching my country NEXT week! Woot! But I think I'm going to display him in robot mode.

Not the trigger, then hand rest. Just like on G1 Megatron.

I must say that is very cool, and a creative way of doing that too.

I thought it was the hammer, not a hand rest? You know, the part you cock before you fire? ( Except I think Walther P-38s auto cock. )

Holding my G1 Megatron, it looks more like part of the handle. It's too small to be the hammer, and there's already a trigger. I'm no gun expert but I'm pretty sure it's just part of the handle.

Pretty crappy head if he can't see. Mabye you could still leave the helmet up and then put the second helmet over it?

My bad, I wasn't actually looking at Megatron when I posted that. I was going by memory. You're right, the hammer is on the part that becomes the shoulders.
