Wow... what I like about Tom's customs is that he puts alot of heart in it. The characters come out with a certain level of expression and attitude that Takara and Hasbro have never been able to capture. A very happy camper... and Tom Servo never dissappoints. Ace custom and everyone of these masterpiece is just in a league of its own. You cant compare Twincast, Blaster and Wreck-gar. They are all equally brilliant. Top notch work man.
thats crazy how you got the face with a complete expression goin on. Eyebrows n all. Frickin bone chilling.
So much positive response! I'll try to do it justice! Kelvin, you're an awesome guy to do projects for! Thank you for giving me the opportunity! I'm looking forward to our next project! It will be superior! Thank you gentlemen! You're all too kind! And I like you, dude! One of the nicest compliments I've ever received! There was much debate about the facial hair, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Of course he talks TV! Don't look behind door number two Monty! They do have a hypnotic effect don't they. I actually shortened them a lot since installing them. Believe me, no one's more surprised than I am! From a guy who's made the things you have, I take that compliment very seriously! Thank you! He's not, really. He's kind of rusty. But I appreciate the thought! It never would have dawned on me to make a Wreck-Gar out of Prime, if Kelvin hadn't asked me to do it. I'd like to make one to go with my Classics, but 2 pack prime isn't quite right. The face went though a real evolutionary process. I like to build up layers on each other letting the lower ones set before moving on. I'm glad you dig it. I went more into how I sculpt in the Wreck-Gar WIP thread. He'll make point five past light speed. He might not look like much, but he's got it where it counts! Thanks again everyone!
:O Whoa! Beautiful! Simply Beautiful! You've captured his character, his likeness perfectly! & what about his cool headsculpt? His cheesy grin is spot-on!
While it echoes most of everyone's sentiments here, I must say that looks great! I love how you altered the MP Prime's parts to not instantly look like MP Prime. Great work, and thanks for sharing
re wreck-gar, flipping awesome tom ive got to congratulate you mate, it takes a brave man to remold a master piece, especially optimus!!! that has to be one of the best if not THE best custom ive seen, i think its because not many people tackle wreck gar, you've really captured him well, and like someone else said, its the detail you've put in to him, im all for detail,as its the little things that make a huge differance, fantastic work tom!!! all the best colin
