So I am really wanting to push my limits even farther this year with painting and builds and such. So I here is another guy I am using a lot of brush/airbrush work with. The way Grimmy looks best to me...... tough and with teeth. I want him to resemble a tank...but...a Dino tank!!!! mainly just layers of flat black, grays, and whites...a little bit of silver on some spots, but mainly on the edges and in the cuts. I also used a turquoise wash on some of the chest to resemble corrosion.. you can see it on the "bolts" beside his head.
Too much tease dude. More pics! Will you be carving the faceplate with teeth like your WWI? That's one of my most favourite features in one of my favourite customs made by you!
Looking awesome so far, can't wait to see how this works out. Colors are definately a great fit for Grimlock!

I like this TONS more than Grimlock usual chromed chest. I don't like chrome at all, unless it's for a muffler or a grill...
love the dark tones and bronze-ish appearance! the teeth are pretty sweet and subdued well. would love to see your take on a mp shattered glass grimlock...
Right!! Thanks man...I can resist painting more life into my TFs......I think this is my favorite Grimlock!!! Thank you. Man, there have been a good bit done....so thanks a lot! A little more than three!! I totally would like to do a shattered glass grimlock... I wonder what that would look like? So I am finished!
Here's an idea. Shattered Glass is a bit like the "reverse image" of the universe we're familiar with. How about a Grimlock in Constructicon green & purple, and then you can do a Devastator that has a weathered steel and bronze/gold look to it?

Yea, I'm in the process of washing mine right now. it's coming out very nice! really brings out the detail a lot.
