I know some have managed to make a near perfect addition....

What I want Is something simplified... just the Trailer Vehicle mode...
(well at least for now ;) )

and want him to be nearly 100% copy of G1 Ultra Magnus, but only in perfect scale to the MP-02

So I took my G1 Magnus from it's box and started measuring :D

    ADDED:
-Lego base dimesion platform (compared to Original G1)
-Building Phase1 Digital Lego Replica and then copy those results on the IRL version after wards

    UPDATE2:
    -ALPHA DESIGN STAGE COMPLETED! :D

    UPDATE3:
-Design Stage Complete (including Identical G1 Transformation)
(but as MP-02 is to pretty I'll might do an articulated armor-type someday)

    UPDATE4:
-Well I Finished making the Trailer connector part, (So that counts right!

So far It will cost 235euro's If I order Original Lego Blocks :(
Anyone in Europe who's know good/cheap Nameless-aftermarket blocks?

Other people intressted if I can sculpt some more using this a it's base as soon as I have a Prototype?

OK so far so good, I'm think this won't be to hard to complete... but will be strong as **** :D

(might even design a transformable version later on, after I finish the basics)

Wow... this is amazing. I can imagine scratch building a magnus trailer, but out of lego? Magnificent. How are you certain on the scale, since I see you're using Lego digital designer?

If you cover the lego skeleton with styrene this could be cool. I would recommend making sure you can't tell lego's are involved as much as possible. Something about seeing lego's in a custom is usually a big turn off.
I'm sure you already know that though. You got tha touch.

Actually, the Duplo style bricks are for the Best-Lock Junior series. If you look there is traditional size and shape bricks available too. Best-Lock Special Range

    see reaction below... ;)

Yup thnx for the reminder, your absolutely right :D
If put in a margin to cut excess lego away or fill with resin and/or add styrene etc. so I could do 2 versions, the easy/cheap version which I think still looks good and the more accurate version which will include lots of extra works and detailing....

Ok now I saw what you meant... but it look like they only have the more default block and I need a whole bunch of special block as wel, so I might have to continue the search or someone from the board who has lots of lego could pm me, then i'll send a list of required bricks :p

Since there is no actual work completed, but it seems you're asking the group here for some help, we'll move this thread here, to Creative GD. :thumb

I'm going to have to agree with Unicron 9.
I will say that if you built a MP Magnus with Legos then you would be on to something!
