Okay so far in the USA, we've gotten MP Optimus Prime Wal-Mart edition, MP Starscream Wal-Mart edition, MP Skywarp Wal-Mart edition, MP Grimlock TRU edition, and MP Rodimus TRU edition.

Will we get MP Thundercracker Wal-Mart edition? I'm surprised he's not out yet. Or will he be here for Christmas after the sales of MP Rodimus go past?

Considering Wal-mart had to clearance skywarp heavily (and even sell them to the discount stores) I would really be surprised if they would pick up another repaint of that mold as an exclusive.

I love the automatic assumption in this fandom that when Takara turn out a toy, people will be able to get a Hasbro version at half the price down the road.

But i'll still be able to get Jetwing Prime for $30 on Black Friday, right?

Well, I hope he makes it to the USA soon. Cause I'd rather not pay $300 for him if I don't have to. Even thought the Takara one is probably much nicer. After all, I like my Takara Skywarp a lot better than the Hasbro Skywarps.
Anyway, point is I hope we get an affordable USA version of him soon. And didn't WM Skywarp come two years after WK Starscream?

Hasbro hates G1 Thundercracker. His initial Classics release was a Botcon exclusive, then after years he got a proper release... that was in the tail-end of Generations that barely got mass retail. You want a cool Legends G1 Thundercracker? Go to Japan... where it's blindpacked. You want an affordable cartoon-accurate MP Thundercracker? Too bad.

This is the part where the people who got one for under a $100 from HLJ chip in right?

    Reversing those intakes was fun!

Hey with Generations Cotinuiing you can still find Thundercracker on shelves. Sadly he's not in the revision wave in the winter.

I love the jerkwad attitudes when someone who may be less than totally informed asks a perfectly innocent question.

But I'll still get to be a douchebag the next time someone asks a question, right?

'Why isn't there a USA MP Thundercracker yet?' isn't exactly a new topic.

And there's plenty of information about to indicate why.

Its all about a retailer picking up the exclusive. As mentioned Skywarp sold for shit at walmart. I think that was due to them making way to many because they did not have enough Starscream. Still the taste of $15 MP Skywarps is on the minds of any retailer considering picking up MP Thundercracker.

I think Current (wasn't that it?) *IS* due fairly soon.

And TRU are probably clued in enough to know the perceived failure of MP Skywarp.

Also throw in what's been discussed in the MP speculation thread, and the fact that iGear have their hands on it..i would say this mold is probably done, Takara and Hasbro.

**facetious** It's a bigger conspiracy then you think. And it's Hasbro/Takara! **facetious**

    1) Initial release of generation thundercracker as Botcon exclusive right before movie popularity would boost it.
    2) Henkei release of thundercracker a Japan store exclusive. QC issues included.
    3) Generations Thunder years down the line purposely as an end-of-line product.
    4) Animated Thundercracker shown then canceled.
    5) Japan Animated Thundercracker shown then canceled.
    6) US Masterpiece overproduced guaranteeing MP Thundercracker will never see the light of day.
    7) Takara Ghost Starscream produced to get the mold one step closer to breaking down.
    8) Cybertron Thundercracker
    9) Alternity Thundercracker released last once the mold issues are known.

But do you know what makes it all better?
