I would say that given enough time and an overstock of inventory... there's the good possibilty that a Christmas sale could happen. That said, Ghost Starscream has actually gone back up in price by about thirty bucks over the last few months on their site.

 

If that is the case,maybe the price for general release will be much more lower compare to ordering from Amazon

 

I'm wondering if the Amazon box will have different styling than the Asian general release, if so that would be my only reason to get the Amazon version.

Either way I have a brother in Taiwan and my parents are going to see him mid-September so that should save me some cash on the current online prices!  

 

Should not have different packaging,maybe with additional "brown box" as outer layer.
