Well, okay, you may not be doing it wrong, but if all you're doing to the legs during transformation is pulling them down and flipping out the feet, you're wrong!

See, in order to turn into jet mode, his double jointed knees are pushed in a click:

If you click it backwards once at the upper knee joint, and then forward once at the lower knee joint, his legs will be much straighter:

This allows him to stand much more solidly without the stand, without any of that silly leaning forward business, with the thrusters pointed down instead of at the odd angles needed before:

Also, still fully capable of supporting the "fins on back" mod:

If it's old info, my apologies, just disregard. I just figured it out today and hadn't seen it mentioned elsewhere.

I always took my waiste kibble off and stuck them on the legs, gives him more of a G1 look, rather than on his back IMO. Plus it kills that skinny leg look

Yeah, but unless you're using the stand, the G1 look can't be done.

Yeah, I tend to stick it on his legs with I'm using the stand as well, i was just pointing out that there's an easy fix to make him stand better in robot mode regardless of what you do with the kibble.

Also, why is everyone complaining about skinny legs? I mean, I look at this picture:

and his legs look perfectly in proportion to the rest of his body. I mean, yeah, they're certainly skinnier than they would be if you left the kibble on, but they're not ridiculously proportioned by any means.

It's not that the legs are skinny, it's just that there's so much going on up there, it makes down there seem lacking. ok that didnt sound right

LOL. I got what you meant, and I can kind of see it, I just don't think he looks all that odd the way I've got him. He looks like a humanoid robot with wings. He looks like Starscream.

Also, that sig makes me giggle.

The way you have him looks cool I think. Alot better than having them on the waiste. There's so many ways I guess.
All I know is sometimes the offical way can seem lame, but there's always a way to make him look better.

Some people do prefer the waiste method, for that samurai look

Well I noticed that snaping the Knees correctly makes him ballance much better in robot mode. Thanks for the tip, Peaugh.

this is like the alt Skids crotch-straightening transformation - obviously the correct way, yet not mentioned in the instructions. Brilliant!!! Thanks Peaugh!

damn, between this and the G1 Prime head turning mod, this has been a great weekend for my toys.

No Problem! I was just messing around and found it earlier, figured some of us might want to know about it, and I hadn't seen it anywhere else.

Freaking sweet find!!! I have all three of the seeker molds and I never noticed this. I am going to go correctly transform my MP SS and MP SW in just a minute.

    Excellent find!!!

See, that at least is a somewhat dynamic pose, but the options are so much more limited if you put the fins on the legs WITHOUT the stand.

Well, it looks like the person at HASBRO responcible for putting together the instructions messed up again.

    Thanks again, Peaugh.
