That is the question? I don't know what to do with him.. He just came today in my big box of toys from BBTS, classics came as well. I have been reading about how he easily get's stress marks and stuff and I do not know what to do. I would eventually like to get a second one, however if that doesn't happen, I wouldn't want a jacked up one as my only one. Thoughts?

Well, I asked myself the same question when I bought a Nemesis Prime.

It all went down to why did I buy it? I wanted to see how it transformed -- I wanted to appreciate what sort of engineering went into its design. I didn't buy it just to stare at it.

How about you? If you bought MP-3 to keep it MISB for the next 2 or 20years then I suggest not opening it. If you bought it to have and hold then open it -- knowing full well that there WILL be stress marks, there WILL be loose joints or whatever but you had your way with it somehow.

I'd probably open mine and if it's worth it, I'd buy a 2nd one to keep MISB :)

Open it! The stress marks add character!...well, not really, I don't have mine yet and don't know how noticeable they are but nevertheless you're denying yourself the full joy of this masterpeice. Open up that joy.

    And that's the word.

    Open it!

I would gladly sell you an MP03 box, sealed, if you're so intent on owning the box, for HALF of what you paid to BBTS. PM me!

The stress marks don't detract from the look of the figure, they're all but invisible.

Honestly, the box hides the figure. What did you pay $100 for?

Buying this toy and not opening it is like ordering a $100 steak, eating one small bite and saying I'm finished.

    Open I say!

Open and run down the hallway with it. Wheeee!

Seriously tho, the insert is made to where he can easily be put back to stay new looking if needed. You wont have to battle any twisties or anything, just some tape.

MP03 was meant to be desired in person, would hate too see ya miss out on the awesomeness. Plus people will be talking about the toy for a long time, might be good to be able to relate with it all with your own opinions etc.
He also comes with Waspinator and Kremzeek decals.

Open it. Just be gentle with it if you're worried about stress marks.

If you do open it, handle it with great care and take your time transforming it. I would strongly suggest you raise the section behind the cockpit before you detatch the wings - it's a major weak point in the toy.

    ...and you must be ?

Im just scared to open a $100 toy and have it break the 1st time, unlike MP prime who is built like a friggin Fortress lol. I'm sure I will open it and just scrap up some extra money to get another. Regardless of opening it I still want one to be sealed. It's just that cool of a toy, plus Im pretty much done collecting once the last two alts and the rest of classics are released.

Keep it closed. Wait fifty years until it's a colossal rarity. Then take it out, and, broadcasting in full 7-sense 3d over the Hyperweb, jump up and down on it. Glory in the bloodcurdling shrieks of the collector's market.

Then call the ambulance because all the activity is sending you into cardiac arrest. You're probably, what, in your seventies by this time? Unless they've got decent robot hearts by then. Then you're cool.

Or open it. Play with it. Fly it around making SHWOOO noises. Get a Perfect Grade gundam and a 1/60 Yamato valkyrie and have 'em all duke it out.

The stress marks are an inevitability...I was careful as all hell with mine, and those crappy joints STILL got marks on them.

However, I have transformed him a few times now, and no more have appeared, and the ones that did appear were on surfaces that weren't exposed in either mode.

I say open! Somebody will open it someday anyway, that goes for all MISB.

I normally keep the toys I collect MIB, but for some reason my TFs do not count. They're all open, with the exception of Alt NP, although I'll change my mind about it as well eventually.

    Let him out!!!!
