MPSS is around 1/60 scale, Hot Wheels 1/64 so a car in scale with SS would be something a little bigger than a Hot Wheel

MP SS should be closest to Leader Prime in scale, not counting the wings in bot mode.

Methos, I think you should reread Keiichitron's post there. Leader Prime is still a bit big for SS. Leader Prime is closer to the Alts (1:24) in scale:

[the M.A.S.K. Rhino is 1:24 btw]

If you're referring to vehicular scale, then Keiichitron is right, which means that Legends cars (Movie Jazz, Bumblebee, Barricade, Cybertron Hot Shot, etc) and deluxe large trucks (Classic 2-pack Prime, Movie Bonecrusher, maybe even Energon Constructicons) would look to be in a ballpark scale to him. Of course, if you're willing to stretch scale a bit, Movie Voyager Prime (roughly 1:48 scale), Classic Voyager Prime (roughly 1:46 scale), and basic cars wouldn't look toooo bad next to Starscream's jet mode.

Now, if you're referring to a scale comparitive to robot sizes in the cartoons and movie, then yeah, Movie Leader class Optimus Prime stands about a centimeter taller than MP Starscream. But when in vehicle modes, they really won't look realistic next to one another.

QFT. The scale of robots is a LOT more relative than the scale of actual vehicles (which is very specific).

I was trying to find out the scale of MPSS a couple weeks ago. I saw a few auctions for 1/48 model F-15s. The wingspan & length from nose to tail in inches match MPSS. I don't have any 1/48 models to do a side by side comparison but I think MPSS is 1/48.

You can have mine (with the custom stripe painted on it) for $20 + shipping if you want; just pm me. :thumb

I'm not sure if supersquads knows what the A-team is; he's only 3 years old. I, on the other hand, grew up with them as well as the rest of the 80s. :D

Anyways, back on topic, this thread just really gets me wanting a MP-style movie SS (and Blackout) more . . . :D ream:

1/48 scale F-15s are 16" long. MPSS is 13" long. I don't have MPSSs wingspan, but it certainly isn't 11" like the models.

If they were worried about scale in the beginning, Spike could have beat down Megatron.

Dr. Archivel is about the same size as a diaclone driver. MP Starscream is about in scale with the G1 cars.

^^^Yup. An F-15 is a very big machine. Surprisingly big compared to a car. Pretenders Jazz would be about in-scale with MP Starscream. It also seems that Deluxe Bonecrusher would be about in-scale too.

MP SS is almost exactly the same size length wise in alt mode as Leader Prime. In bot mode they're also the same. I would take a picture but I'm too lazy. Kinda cool. The only reason I know this is because I currently only have 4 TFs in my apartment, and 2 of them are some form of movie Bumblebee. Incedentally, having MPSS makes me completely disinterested in getting a big decepticon to fight LP.

do you have a side by side picture? the Foxbat and Eagle are almost identical in size (64 ft long vs 63 ft long) so if they are the same size SS would have to be 1/72 (and I don't know how to use a calculator)
