    I was set to pass on soundwave due to the holiday season. But I want him wicked bad and this is just the news I needed to hear to make that pre order!!

    With regards to Soundwave, I'm actually glad there's a delay. It'll give many of us a much needed relief with the high volume of releases for the months of November and December. It'll also mean less of a wait between Soundwave and his tapes.

    The Fort Max news I can take it or leave it, there was always enough time to save for that.

    Soundwave??!!?? Damn you Takara you ruined my Christmas :p 

    The wait sucks but it puts his release closer to the Minion release (silver lining) I guess I need to try and see if RK can seperate my shipment of Sideswipe and Red Alert so I at least get me some MP goodness for Christmas.

    Christmas throughout the year. Glad soundwave was delayed. And heres to hope for no more QC issues. Make the wait worth it TT.

    So instead of getting mp sideswipe and soundwave for Christmas, I'm now getting mmc screecher and the holiday insecticons. I'm OK with that :thumb

    Well it's actually good for me - more time to work with other packages. As long as they get everything right I'm ready to wait. :)

    Better this than when they rushed Rodimus to get him out in 2010 and he had all kinds of QC issues.

    Take your time and get things right.

    I'm also glad they delayed this. More time to save up extra for it, plus TT can double, double check the QC on this one.

    I don't have any plans for the beginning of next year, but I do have them for the rest of this year.

    This. I have just begun saving up for Fort max ( got $70 out of aprox $350) so more time is fine with me.

    Soundwave has no effect for me as i had to drop the preorder to make it possible to save up for fort max, ah the perils of collecting on a tight budget.

    After my post of being as upbeat as I possibly could, this is the other side of my thoughts on the matter pretty much exactly. I'm almost surprised that nobody's made a quip about how MP-13 has sunk a competing 3rd party product but now we're seeing Takara replicate the expected delays of some third party products. :D

    I was really disappointed with the Takara Rodimus version 1. But Takara has repaired their rep with me through the excellent MP-10 Optimus mold, MP-11 Starscream, and now MP-12 Sideswipe. I REALLY don't want another MP-9 situation where the first version has serious QC issues. Take the time to get it right.

    I wouldn't be concerned about Red Alert, considering there aren't widespread issues with MP-12.
