Im not sure following Lobo with his Bumblebee project is such a good idea, but here's my MP Sideswipe project I've been working on. I used LEGO balljoints for the hips, but everything else will be scratch built.

He will have a balljoint head, balljoint hips, and articulating fists, pivioting and rotating shoulders, rotating bicepts, and theighs, hindged knees, pivoting feet, rotating waist, and elbows with two points of articulation.

There are 4 magnets I used for his leg transformation, two keep the legs open in robot mode, the other two are used to keep the legs shut together in alt mode. I staggered the four magnets so the poles oppose each other so when shut in alt mode the opposing forces keep the legs pushed in too. It also feels really cool to transform.:)

I also left plenty room for his decklid to fold up his back revealing a jetpack as part of his normal transformation.

Still have tons of work to do...

Another update, LED eyes, and head on shoulders.:)

I haven't yet because of the size limit. Im not very computer savvy, but with my old computer, and whatever program I was using, I couldn't figure out how to downsize them. :dunce

But I just got a new computer two days ago, so when I transfer my pictures, ill try to downsize and zip them. :thumb

Probably just MP Sideswipe, I hate to call anything of my own a "Masterpiece", but its roughly the same scale as MP Prime.

Yeah, I think the MP series are better representations of the G1 figures than the Alt series.
